Exam mapping B2+

When students have completed Gateway 2nd Edition B2+ they will have a solid foundation
for the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam, which they can build on by completing
Gateway 2nd Edition C1 level. The learning materials in the main Units 110 will provide students
with some of the skills and language required in the CAE exam. Each unit contains Exam
success boxes which give advice on task types used within the unit. The Gateway to exams
sections provide more specific exam practice with tasks which are similar to those in Advanced
(CAE) as well as international school-leaving exams.
