Knowledge, Magic, believed to have created the world. Though his covered
Protection, worshippers are few, Chroranus is often invoked mountaintop
Strength, and by prophets, seers, and wizards for his divine
Travel omniscience, and by all those who seek the
knowledge that ones own destiny imparts.
Daenthar The Mountain Earth, Industry, Daenthar (dane-thar), is the earth god of industry, Forging
Lord Vows, Trust blacksmithing, and oaths. He is the patron of hammer set
miners and all who draw from the rock to shape against a
tools of defense and war. Dwarves were hewn in cracked
the image of Daenthar. Yet other races pay their mountain
respects to him as well, particularly mountaineers,
blacksmiths, and those who work with their hands.
Gorhan The Helmed Valor, War, Gorhan (gor-han), is the deity of assertive combat Sword

husband of Justicia and embodies the emphatic black blood
force that carries out her righteous decrees. He is
the patron god of those who fight with courage
against the lawless and corrupt.
Justicia The Helmless Good, Healing, Law, Justicia (jus-ti-shuh), is the goddess of mercy, Shield
Vigil and Protection justice, and defensive combat. Justicia is the wife bearing
of Gorhanshe is the voice of reason behind his radiant eyes
unwavering valor. As the patroness of judges, with a
lawmen, and knights, she oversees justice in all its longsword
forms, be it in a court of law or the field of battle. held against

Ormazd The Changeless Creation, the Sun, Ormazd (or-mahzd), the Changeless, the Lord of Blazing Sun
Prophecy Wisdom, is the creation god of sunlight, a

the current age. Like Ahriman, his dark twin,
Ormazd is believed to have spawned from a
neutral deity, of which very little is known.
Commonly associated with angelic beings,
Ormazd is said to have sponsored a celestial host
that once temporarily purged the world of evil
when Ahrimans faith was as its greatest. Ormazds
skills of creation were paramount in the formation
of the world, but his many battles against his
brother have reduced his power over the ages and
diminished his worship in the mortal realms.
Shul The Watcher in Air, Knowledge, the Shul (shool), God of the Four Phases of the Moon, The Moon
the Sky Moon, the Watcher in the Sky, the Glistening Orb, the
Measurement, Lawgiver, is the god of measurement, tradition,

Pelagia Of the Singing Oceans, Seas, Pelagia (pehl-ah-gee-uh) is the goddess of the seas Sea shell

Ahriman The Darkness, Death, Ahriman (arr-ih-mahn) is the ancient god of Demonic

mephitis of foul places. The disgust he and his head of a
clergy garner among the fairer races serves only to toad
amuse Bobugbubilz. He is served primarily by
anomalous members of various amphibious races,
including locathahs, scrags, and sahuagin. Human
cults spring up now and again in his wake,
carrying out deviant rites and spawning new
creatures in his name.
Cthulhu The Great Old Cold-blooded Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl Image of
One Creatures, fhtagn. In his house in Rlyeh dead Cthulhu Cthulhu
Darkness, The waits dreaming. Rlyeh is a great sunken city of

await their return to power. Various evil mages
and priests, desirous of superhuman powers,
experiment with some of the forbidden books
(such as The Necromicon) and occasionally
unleash some horror on themselves or their
surroundings.
Hidden Lord The Cloaked Darkness, The Hidden Lord is a deity of the shadows, an Black cowl

gods who do not openly preach their tenets, for
his ways are by their very nature concealed. His
clergy, the Hidden Path, is a well- organized secret
society that carries out its evil agenda through
clandestine means, feigning the worship of other
gods and communicating to each other with
complex codes. There is no common appearance
among his faithful. If there is a means to identify a
cleric of the Hidden Lord, they do not share it
outside their own. Any priest who turns from the
Hidden Path is marked for death.
Klazath The Crimson Destruction, Klazath (klah-zuth) is the god of glory through Bloodstained,
Banner Strength, violence, conflict, and war for its own sake. A od of double

and tyrants. Followers of Klazath consider peace battleaxe of
an enervating state, a stagnation that weakens all black metal.

Malotoch The Crow God Air, Cannibalism Malotoch (mal-uh-tock), the Carrion Crow God, Crow
Death, Scavengers, the Mother of Ruin, the Mistress Defiler, the Crow perched
Ruin. Witch, is the patron goddess of scavengers, above a skull
cannibals, and all those who practice unclean rites.
She is the demonic mistress of the living and
undead who feast upon carrion or otherwise
benefit from the loss of mortal life. Like poisonous
mushrooms that thrive on decay, so Malotoch
thrives on the ruin of life. Where great battles end
and the glorious fallen lie, there Malotoch and her
foul children are drawn.
Nimlurun The Lord of Death, Destruction, Nimlurun (nim-luh-roon), the Lord of Filth, the Insect
Filth Filth, Pollution Holy Defiler, the Unclean One, exists to bring (usually a
further decay to the world. He is the god of refuse, dung fly)
putrescence, and all things unclean. His clerics
seek to foul the skies of the world, pollute its
waters, and despoil the earth. As such, they often
inspire the anger of druids and the gods of the
earth.

Note: This document was compiled by me (Jonathan Perkel) for my group and it contains short versions of most of the gods in the DCC
RPG rulebook. These entries, with two exceptions, were distilled down from the much more detailed descriptions contained in Chapter 2
of the DCC #35: Gazetteer of the Known Realms. The other two were paraphrased from Deities & Demigods (Cthulhu) or written by me
(Ulesh). As compared to the DCC RPG listing, Klazath and Cthulhu were moved to the Realm of Chaos, Thalas was added to Neutrality, and
Azi Dahaka and Cadixtat were left out. I claim no copyright in these materials which are Goodman Games.
