Game Rules

- Standard ice hockey rules apply, except in the scenarios below.

o After goals, the team that was scored on receives the ball, with the other team
clearing to their side of centre ice.
o High sticking rules do not apply on passes and goals.
o When goaltending, your feet must remain out of your net at all times. If this rule is
broken, a warning will be issued. If a second offence occurs, an automatic goal will
be awarded to the opposing team. The process then resets.
o Penalties will result in a 1-on-1 penalty shot. Poke checks are not allowed by the
goaltenders during penalty shot attempts. The shooter may move in any direction,
including below the goal line, until a shot is attempted. There is a 10 second limit on
penalty shots.
o Games are self-officiated. If there is a dispute in need of resolution, the games off-
ice officials (scorekeeper, video replay) may cast deciding votes.
o Video reviews are unlimited and can be requested at any time.
Foot-in-net infractions cannot be called based on video review unless the
review was needed specifically for that reason.
