4.

3 Descriptive Statistics

4.3.1 Respondents Demographic Characteristics

4.3.1.1 Respondents Gender

Based on the gender, there are two categories which are male and female.The data of

the analysis result based on the characteristics of the gender is showed in the following table

4.9 below.

Table 4.9 shows that from the total of 94 respondents in thus research, the male respondents

are 61 people about 64.1 percents, whereas the female respondents are 33 people about 35.1

percents. From the data above and as shown in the diagram 4.1,, we can conclude that male

respondents are dominant in this research.

4.3.1.2 Respondents Age

Based on the age, there are four groups : at and below 18 years old, 19 - 24 years old, 25 - 30

years old, and above 30 years old. The data of the respondents age is shown in the table 4.10

below.

Table 4.10 shows that the respondents aged >30 years old dominate this research with 30

respondents of the total 94 respondentsor about 0.32 percents from the total respondents. And
respondents aged below and 18 years old are the minor participants. The comparison of that

proportion can be seen in the figure 4.2 below.

4.3.1.3 Respondents Geographic Location

The respondents geographic location is grouped based on the provinces in which they are

currently staying. As Indonesia has 34 provinces, it is also grouped into 34 classes. The data

of the respondents current province location is showed in table 4.11 below.

From the table 4.11 above we can see that the respondents come from 21 different provinces.

The respondents are mostly from Central Java consisting of 15 percents from the total

respondents. Bali and D.I. Yogyakarta are 13 percents and also West and East Java are each

11 percent. DKI Jakarta consists of 8 percents then North Sumatra and East Kalimantan are 6

percents. The least respondents come from Aceh with 2 percents of the respondents. The

comparison of that proportion can be seen in the figure 4.3 below.

4.3.1. Respondents Occupation

The respondents occupations are divided into four groups Student, Public Servant

/Private, Entrepreneur, Others. The data of the respondent occupations are showed in table

4.12 below.

Table 4.12 shows that most of the resspondents occupations are public servant/ Private from

40.4 percents of the total respondents. Then it follows by enterpreneur and students with 28.7

precents and 26.6 percents of the total respondents. The least respondents occupation is

other which is 4.3% of total respondents.
