ConsenSys is a venture production studio building decentralized


applications and various developer and end-user tools for blockchain
ecosystems, primarily focused on Ethereum. The ConsenSys hub
coordinates, incubates, accelerates and spawns spoke ventures
through development, resource sharing, acquisitions, investments and
the formation of joint ventures. These spokes benefit from foundational
components built by ConsenSys that enable new services and
business models to be built on the blockchain. In addition to the
development of internal projects and consulting work, ConsenSys is
interested in the identification, development and acquisition of talent
and projects on an ongoing basis.

Rachel Pipan
Rachel is the Senior Communications Manager for The Bitfury
Group, a leading full-service Blockchain technology company.
She is an award-winning public relations professional who is
passionate about communicating to a variety of audiences the power
of Blockchain technology and the revolutionary impact of bitcoin.
Rachel previously worked on the media strategies team for the worlds
largest private public relations firm, Edelman PR, in Washington, D.C.
During her tenure at Edelman, Rachel worked with organizations such
as Samsung, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Administration (SAMHSA), the Educational Testing Service, the U.S.
Travel Association and others. Rachel received her M.A. in Strategic
Communications from American University and her B.A. in Public
Relations as an honored graduate of Auburn University.

(Moderator) Agnes Budzyn, Oce of the Founder,


Managing Director at ConsenSys, works directly
with the CEO on the growth strategy and ensuring
business alignment across the regions. Agnes also
focuses on relationships with regulators, institutions
and reviews of potential business acquisitions. She
has also spoken on the impact of blockchain and its
potential applications at events held by the FDIC and
the World Economic Forum. Previously Agnes was a
member of the Financial Markets Advisory special situations team at
BlackRock, where she advised clients on managing their capital markets
exposure and balance sheets, working with institutions and regulators during
the financial crisis. She also advised on regulatory and strategic challenges
and performed country-wide financial reviews while working with the European
Central Bank and other central banks.

Loyal Horsley focuses on a broad range of


regulatory and corporate matters for the financial
services industry. She works with financial
institutions, large and small, both bank and non-bank,
to ensure compliance with the complex and
expanding regulatory framework. Loyal advises
clients on how to bring more innovative, fintech tools
to customers while maintaining compliant structures,
policies, and procedures. She has advised on
bank-fintech partnerships, virtual currency and money transmission licensing
and regulatory compliance obligations, initial coin oerings, cryptocurrency
exchanges, as well as traditional bank regulatory matters.
As the Founder of BlockBridge Advisory and
Digital Assets Forum, Susan Poole is an advisor
and consultant in the Blockchain Industry, with
specialties in blockchain health and digital identity.
As Former Director of the Chamber of Digital
Commerce, Susan is also an international Speaker
and Moderator in the blockchain and digital currency
space.

Jessica Marshall is a software engineer and


resident commonist (yes, thats spelled right) at
ConsenSys. There, she designs and implements
cryptoeconomic systems to incentivize the
grassroots creation and maintenance of resilient
distributed utilities, including renewable energy
systems and community mesh networks. Much of
her code is informed by the philosophies of mutual
aid she learned while living o-the-grid with a self-
sucient community before she stumbled upon Ethereum. Jessicas other
work spans smart contract development, security audits, and - most recently
- policy work aimed at improving the outlook of women in blockchain.
