GOAL/OBJECTIVE (WHAT)

By the end of the lesson,

Children will develop their ability to control the use of painting brush by drawing circles and the circle
should not touch each other.
Children will have knowledge about colors that match each other and the colors that mismatch.
Students will become able of creating their own designs.

MATERIALS/RESOURCES/STRATEGIES (HOW & WITH WHAT?)

Materials & resources: worksheet, colors. paints, glasses, brushes

Technology integration:

Room on the Broom Oscar Nominated 2014 (video)

 Strategies:

First, we will display a cartoon that they take it before.

Second, we will discuss the cartoon.

We will go to each group and describe the 2 activities and then we will distribute students to

groups according to their level; each color will go to different group.

High level group (HAG)-Orange color and Middle level group (MAG1)-Pink color: We will give

a worksheet that has a broom and ask them to draw their own design.

Next level group (MAG2)-Green color and Low level group (LAG)-Low color: The kids will be

asked to draw color ripples on the boxes according to the artist Kandinsky

And then the groups will be changed so all groups will do both activities.

Plan B: We will give them a worksheet containing a hat and ask them to color it.

The lesson will take around 10 minutes. 5 minutes will be spent describing all activities and 15 minutes will be
allocated for doing activities.

ACTIVITIES

Engagement:

The first three kids finishing the activity successfully will have the opportunity to select the preferred
rewarding stickers.

Teacher will give the instruction of each group and Students will ..
divide the student

High level group (HAG)-Orange group and High level group (HAG)-Orange group and
Middle level group (MAG1)-Pink color: Same Middle level group (MAG1)-Pink color: they will
activities draw with colors parallel circles.

Next level group (MAG2)-Green color and Low Next level group (MAG2)-Green color and Low
level group (LAG)-Low color: Same activities level group (LAG)-Low color: they will develop
their own design on the broom
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS (WHAT IF .?)

Some children will feel bored while sitting and watching the video so I will do some actions related to the
story.

Some children might not understand the activity, so I will go around the group to give more instructions.

Some children might be over excited and may create chaos and I will take remedial action of involving
them in activities preparation and helping me.

ASSESSMENT (WHAT DID ?)

The students drew properly the parallel circles (Ripples)

I will ask the students about colors matching and mismatching.
I will discuss with them their broom designs.
