Good evening teacher, good evening classmates, at this moment I'm going to tell
you about the verbs.
What is a verb? It is the kind of word that expresses action, process or state that
affects people to things and functions as the core of the predicate.
According to how they are conjugated, the verbs can be regular or irregular.
Regular verbs
Regular verbs are those whose structure does not change, to use it in the past
we only add ed at the end of the verb.
For example in the present sentence:
I walk every morning (I walk every morning)
If we say it in the past it would be:
I walked last nigth
Another example would be:
I jump the rope
If we say it in the past it would be:
I jumped the rope yesterday
Irregular verbs
Irregular verbs are a little more complex because they are not added ed but
change completely, for example in the sentence in the present:
I talk to my sister
If we say it in the past it would be:
I spoke with my sister yesterday.
