SUBJECT: ACURING OF HOUSE NO.445, NASHEMAN-E0IQBAL COOPERATIVE HOUSE

BUILDING FOR PROJECT DIRECTOR (HVDC) NTDC, LAHORE

1. Reference to the above-mentioned subject, Dy. Manager (H/Q) forwarded the case of hiring of
office building by Project Director (HVDC), Construction Projects, NTDCL, Lahore, with the
request for rent assessment of the building House # 445, Nashaman-e-Iqbal Cooperative Housing
Society Khyaban-e-Jinnah, Lahore for office accommodation for office of the Project Director
(HVDC) Construction Division, NTDCL, Lahore as per prevailing terms and conditions laid
down by NTDCL authorities.
2. The subject building has been visited accompanied by Secretary Rent Assessment Board for
verification, checking and measurements.
3. Measurements were checked on site and were found to be as per plan (as-built) of the building
provided. The total covered area of building is 4342Sq. ft. The total area required for staff of the
office of Project Director (HVDC), Construction Division, NTDCL, Lahore, according to the
details provided is 4366 Sq. ft as per WAPDA office letter No. AD(Comm)6303/39/WH/13420-
84 dated 26.09.2014 (annex-I)
4. The building lies in the category of other areas in the Lahore city, according to the revised
hiring rates for office accommodation as per WAPDA office order No.
D(S&E)/AD(Estates)/060280/23866-24516 dated 18/07/2008 (annex-II). According to the
notification the rate is Rs. 20/- per sq. ft.
5. On the basis of above rates & total area of the building, the rent for the building is Rs. 86,830/- per
month. Assessment report has been prepared accordingly and placed for perusal and signature
please.
6. The case is submitted for perusal and further necessary action please.
