Symbaloo Webmixes
Step
1 Create a free Symbaloo account
2 Delete unwanted default webmixes
3 Create a webmix
4 Create a web tile
5 Update the webmix
6 Share the webmix
7 Save the Symbaloo link to the
computer's desktop or pin it to the
desktop dock for easy future access
Action on Screen
Create a free Symbaloo account by clicking
on the create free account link at the top
right of the screen. Sign up by using your
Google login credentials or by using your
name and email and creating a password.
Click on the green create my account
button, and confirm your email address.
Delete unwanted default webmixes.
Click the plus symbol on a blank webmix
tab to create a new webmix. Click inside the
name field on the left side of the screen
under add and empty webmix, and type a
name for your webmix. Click the green
add button.
Click an empty square on the webmix to
create a web tile. Click create a tile and
enter a url in the first field on the form.
Click save at the bottom right of the screen.
To share the webmix, click the green share
symbol at the top of the page. Add a title to
the webmix name field and a description
to the webmix description field, and then
click the green share my webmix button at
the bottom of the screen. Close the screen.
Create another web tile within the same
webmix by following step #4. Click the
white update symbol at the top of the screen
to update the webmix.
Save the Symbaloo link to the computer's
desktop by clicking on the Symbaloo icon in
the web address bar and dragging it onto
your desktop. Now click on the icon in the
web address bar and drag it to your desktop
dock to pin it for easy future access.
