MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into by and between:

The Municipality of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, a political subdivision

created under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with office address at
Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, herein represented by the Municipal
Mayor, HONORABLE NILO FLORENTINO Z. SY, hereinafter referred to as
the FIRST PARTY

________________________________, an organization/business
entity/juridical person/ with office address at _____________________, Sindangan,
Zamboanga del Norte, represented herein by
_________________________________ hereinafter referred to as the SECOND
PARTY;
WITNESSED THAT

WHEREAS, the First Party intends to create a CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

in front of the Cultural Center of Sindangan, in Disud, Sindangan,
Zamboanga del Norte for the Christmas Season with the theme of SHOWCASING
THE ORGANIZATIONS thru the creative interpretation of a BAHAY KUBO;
WHEREAS, every December, this Local Government Unit has several
activities for the CHRISTMAS season as well as the celebration of LINGGO NG
SINDANGAN;
WHEREAS, the said CHRISTMAS VILLAGE aims to attract tourists into
the Municipality of Sindangan, as well as to provide for a venue for the different
organizations and business enterprises to showcase each of their organization and
business enterprise through their creative interpretation of a BAHAY KUBO;
WHEREAS, the CHRISTMAS VILLAGE will also be the best avenue for
other tourism attractions as well as an avenue for economic enterprises for this
Municipality, thereby creating revenue for the Local Government Unit;
WHEREAS, the said CHRISTMAS VILLAGE exhibition shall run from
December 1, 2017 up to January 31, 2017, or unless otherwise extended upon
agreement by the parties;
WHEREAS, this endeavor is a competition. Thus, after judgment by
competent judges, there shall be announced winners of this exhibition with prizes to
be determined by this Local Government Unit;

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES:
FIRST PARTY
1. The First Party shall provide for the place/area where the bahay kubo of
each organization be constructed;
2. The First Party shall also provide for an amount of PhP5,000.00 for each
organization/business enterprise for assistance to the organization in the construction
of the said bahay-kubo;
3. The First Party shall also provide for other services and facilities such as
but not limited to wires for electricity. However, the bill of the electricity consumed
will be shouldered by the Second Party or unless there is an agreement by the parties
for the bill of the electricity;
4. The First Party shall conduct inspection, evaluation and close monitoring
of the constructions of the BAHAY-KUBO;
5. The First Party shall also demand refund of the amount of PHP5,000.00 in
case of failure of the Second Party to construct the said BAHAY-KUBO within
the time period provided for them;
6. The First Party shall also provide for other support which it may deem
necessary for the fulfillment of the said endeavor;

SECOND PARTY
1. The SECOND PARTY shall construct the said BAHAY-KUBO within
the time period agreed by the parties;
2. The SECOND PARTY shall showcase their organization through the
creative interpretation of the BAHAY-KUBO;
3. The SECOND PARTY shall bear the expenses for the construction of the
said BAHAY-KUBO;
4. The SECOND PARTY shall exert all efforts to be creative in their
interpretation of the BAHAY-KUBO in accordance with the theme;
5. The assistance in the amount of PHP5,000.00 from the first party shall be
spent on the construction of the said BAHAY-KUBO;
6. Other necessary expenses to be incurred shall also be borne by the
SECOND PARTY unless otherwise provided for by the FIRST PARTY;
7. The SECOND PARTY shall maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of
their respective areas provided;
8. The SECOND PARTY shall abide by the rules and regulations provided
for in this competition and other existing laws, rules and regulations;
