Q1: Can you identify the pedagogic feature that has been used in the animation video on Forum

Yes I can identify the pedagogic feature that has been used in the animation video

1. We can play or pause video by clicking on the play or pause button. Through which we can
move video either forward or backward direction. We can also adjust the playback speed of the video
from 0.5x to 2x.

2. Now in the animation video there is CC button through which we can see the transcript of the
video. There is also a quotes button () by which we can see transcript coming on the side. So the
facilitator speaking about something that portion will be highlighted. It also explains about
''Reflection Activity''.

3. Learning by doing activity focuses on the concept of reinforcement.

4. In the pedagogic adaptation 3 it elaborates the concept of LXTs (learning extension resource)
could be videos, documents, and links to web pages.

Q2: What is one new thing that you learnt about discussion forum etiquettes?

I have learnt so many new things like to solve so many issues with the peer discussion ,how to
making a better presentation so that learners can easily understand the concept , give quizzes
assignment into the classroom teaching and how we can make our e-teaching- learning skills more
better and attractive .

Visual presentation

In this visual presentation its such a knowledgeable video for us where we have learnt about how we
can create a meaningful presentation and develop our presentation skills. This video shows a 6*6 rule
.It means that we have used only 6 words in a point and maximum of 3 points on a slide and use
abbreviated sentences rather than full sentences .

IITBOMBAYX organizes this FDP for the improvement of faculty by which faculty could aware
about new technology and would implement in their teaching learning methodology .In week 3
activity visual presentation is one of the video which is very help full for facilitator .It uses a serif
font like Times Roman, Palatino or Bodoni this font is properly visible to all the learners.

Week4

1. What all guidelines did you follow while creating your own screencast?

Guidelines followed by me:

1. Firstly, prepare script for that ,then we have to download screencast-o-Matic software .

2. Then install this software on our system.


3. After that double click on that and then click on recording option.

2. What were the challenges that you faced while creating the screencast?

The main challenge is to write scripting then download the screencast-o-Matic software.

Week 5

Q1. Among the various technologies that you have been exposed to which will be an easy technology
to integrate into your classroom immediately (current academic semester/next academic semester).

There are so many technologies I have learnt in this FDP101X and enjoy all the weekly sessions.
Upto Week 5 I have used ICT, WORDPRESS, MOODLE AND screen casting technology, which is
very interesting and easy technology. This technology is very easy from learner point of view by
which they can easily understand the content.

Q2. What challenges do you expect while integrating this technology into your classroom?

There are so many challenges I have faced the main challenge is to create a MOODLE for the learner
and how we can save the changes because the user name and password are common to all participants
.If I create MOODLE for my own, then it will change the setting as well as content .So thats why
this is the major challenge in front of us.
