1. Summary
ALL Depth Measurements Referenced to RT

The Larchford Drillmaster 1 land rig was utilized to drill the well as well number 3, in a 4 well campaign
in the North Netherlands. The rig was moved from the previous drilling location at the Wommels-1
location. The first day of the rig move was September 20th, with the rig on contract over the
Langezwaag-1 well from 02:00 hrs on 26th September 2011, when the well was spudded.

The Langezwaag well commenced with a 12 1/4 Target directional assembly drilling out the 16
conductor. The well was drilled vertically through the upper section of the Upper North Sea Group
before kicking off at 375m and building inclination through the Lower North Sea Group. Whilst drilling
through the Lower North Sea Group the string became stuck and packed off in the Landen formation.
Once freed, large amounts of cuttings and sticky clay balls were seen at the shakers. High MBT levels
3
in the mud (133 kg/m ) did not help the cause and diluting with fresh mud and adding gypsum had little
effect. Drilling continued to section TD, casing point for the 9 5/8 called at 1,247m (approximately
115m into the Ommelanden Chalk). Inclination at TD was 34.5.

The string was back reamed out of the hole and became packed off and stuck twice, at the previous
stuck point in the Landen and also in the Brussel Sands. On both occasions the pack off was cleared
without any problems. A steady stream of cuttings and clay balls were seen during the trip out. No
down hole losses were observed during the section and the hole was found to be slick on the trip out.

5
The 9 /8, 36#, K55 BTC casing was ran in hole without any problems or down hole losses. A tight
spot had to be washed through at 900m and the casing was washed from 1,213m to TD due to a 5mt
increase in down drag. A conventional dual slurry double plug cement job was performed, and,
despite no losses during cementing no cement was seen at surface indicating a washed out hole. A
length of string with weights was lowered into the annulus and held up 50m, however it was not
possible to tell if it was cement or simply a centralizer that was being tagged.

The 8 hole section was drilled with an OBM (ranging between 1.21sg to 1.27sg). An FIT was
performed outside the 9 5/8 casing shoe to an EMW of 1.43 sg (in the Ommelanden Chalk) at 1244m
AH. Directionally the section was built out of the 9 5/8 casing shoe to the tangent angle of
approximately 37, at an azimuth approximately 147. The BHA was allowed to drop prior to entering
the target zones and continued to drop to section TD at an inclination of 19.72. The well drilled
through the Vlieland Sandstone (not prognosed), Zechstein Carbonate (secondary target), Slochteren
Sandstone (primary target) and into a Limburg rat hole. Well TD was 2,310m (2,0592 mTVD).

The Vlieland Sandstone, Zechstein Carbonates, Slochteren Akkrum and Slochteren were evaluated
with the below listed Weatherford electric line evaluation tools:
Wireline run #1 GR-Resistivity-Sonic-Neutron-Density (TD 2010m) and then GR-Sonic and 1
arm caliper to 1200m.
Wireline run #2 GR-CBL, 9 5/8 shoe to surface showed top of good cement to be at +/- 278m
with free pipe at 100m. From 242m to 227m the log showed approximately 50% bond and
from 227m to 100m approximately 20% bond.
Wireline run #3 Formation Pressures. A total of 24 tests were performed, 19 initial tests and 5
repeat tests, 12 tests were good, 12 were tight.

End Of Well Report Langezwaag - 01 Vermilion Oil and Gas Netherlands BV

The Slochteren was present but of poor quality and wet. The Vlieland sandstone showed 13.7%
porosity with 1.9m net pay, the Z3 Carbonate 11.4% porosity with 2.1m of pay and the Z2 Carbonate
7.7% porosity with 12.9m of pay, so the decision was made to complete the well.

Due to the cement not reaching surface in the 9 5/8 / 16 conductor annulus an amendment to the
program was required to allow perforation of the 9 5/8 and perform a squeeze job to satisfy regulatory
requirements. To enable this a 7 liner was ran, the intention being to run and cement the liner,
perforate the 9 5/8 near surface and squeeze cement and then run a tie back string and cement to
surface to cover the perforations. The 7 liner was run and set 5m from bottom, with some difficulty in
setting the hanger due to the liner wiper plug fins folding and allowing fluid to bypass. Once set, the
casing was cemented, however, during cementation the hanger failed and liner slipped 5m to bottom.
The hanging capacity of the hanger had been exceeded with the additional weight of the cement
column (hanging capacity not checked prior to shipping liner to rig). The cement job was completed
and the liner running tool retrieved to surface.

A 6 clean out string was ran in hole and cement drilled out from 1912m to 1975m at which point
problems were encountered with the top drive, erratic torqueing up and stalling out with strange noises
indicating something was amiss. After troubleshooting the top drive for 7.6 days and rectifying the
problems the remainder of cement was drilled out to the ball catcher sub on top of the shoetrack.

A CBL evaluation was carried out on the 7 and 9 5/8 casing strings and top of good cements
interpreted at 1596m and 278m respectively. After further discussion with SODM it was agreed that
the likelihood of a perforating/ squeeze cement job on the 9 5/8 being successful was low. Based on
the fact there was no cement around the 9 5/8 shoe the requirement to monitor for potential pressure
build up would not be possible if remedial perforating / cementing at surface was carried out.
Therefore it was decided to cancel the perforation and remedial cementing. A top dress / polish mill
assembly was run to dress off the PBR prior a dummy run with a seal stack assembly on drill pipe
carried out to confirm that the PBR had not been damaged when the liner had dropped. A 7 tie back
string c/w seal assembly was ran and successfully tied back.

The Vlieland Sandstone and Z3 formations were perforated on a single wireline run and a scraper run
performed across the perforations and the 3 packer setting depths.

5 7
A 3 zone completion comprising, 4 /8 TCP guns, 2 /8 and 3 VAGT L-80 tubing completion string
c/w 3 packers, Chemical injection Sub, TR-SCSSV was successfully RIH.

The production packers were set and pressure tested and the tubing hanger set with compression. A
two way check valve was set and tested in the tubing hanger and the BOPs rigged down. An adapter
flange and lower master valve were installed onto the well and tested.

The rig was released at 12:00hrs on 27-10-2011 and preparations continued for the rig move from
Langezwaag to the De Kom wellsite.

st
On the 21 November a Schlumberger well test package was rigged up, during daytime only, without
incident and in reasonable time.

The HOD was retrieved from the TR-SCSSV, the separation sleeve from the chemical injection sub
(CIS) and the drop bar from the vent sub. The sliding side door sleeve (SSD) at 2075m was then
opened and the existing completion brine displaced with inhibited completion brine. The SSD was then
closed.

The detonator bar was dropped with 140bar underbalance to perforate the Z-2 Interval at 2129 -
2141.5m and the well opened to flow to clean up. No H2S was present and initial production showed a
gas rate of 400,000 m/day with a steady FTHP of 60.2bar. The well was closed in and WHP recorded
to build up from 60bar to 177bar in 6min.

A bullnose was RIH to 2145m to confirm the guns had dropped before setting and inflow testing a plug
& prong in the XN nipple at 2109m. The SSD at 2099m was opened and an attempt made to clean up
the Z-3 perforated interval (2099 2100.5m) however the Z-3 was deemed to be unresponsive.

The upper SSD at 2087m was opened and the well flowed on a 58/64" choke to clean up the Vlieland
perforated interval (2095 2097m). No H2S was present and initial production showed a gas rate of
538,000 m/day with a steady FTHP of 58.4bar. The well was closed in and WHP recorded to build up
from 58bar to 181bar.

Following the excellent results on both the Z-2 & Vlieland intervals, the decision was made to cancel
coiled tubing stimulation runs and complete main well tests on the 2 intervals:

Cal Scan tandem memory gauges & hanger were RIH and attempts made to hang off in the XN nipple
at 2109m, however the gauge hanger no-go profile was 1cm too long to allow keys to engage. The
no-go profile on the gauge hanger was machined-down and the gauges and hanger successfully set.
The Z-2 interval main flow test was performed with an initial flow rate of 304,000 m/day at 110 bar
FTHP. A 14 hour build up period was performed and the interval flowed again on a 32/64 choke, final
flow rate of 312,900 m/day at 109bar FTHP.

The upper SSD at 2087m was opened to access the Vlieland interval and tandem memory gauges
were ran in and hung off. The well was opened up on a 36/64" choke, increasing to 40/64" and the
3
Vlieland main well test completed. A final flow rate of 414,900 m /day at 118.4 bar FTHP was
recorded.

The TR-SSSV & Tree valves were closed in and Schlumberger Well Test package was rigged down.
The gauges were pulled from the Vlieland SSD at 2087m, the tubing filled with inhibited brine, and a
PX Plug and prong set and tested in the X Nipple at 2106m. The well then shut in and testing
operations completed on 9th December, 2011.
