Details of crimes committed by the torturers of the terrorist organization

of Mojahedin-e Khalq

Habilian Association
Engineering Operation

Introduction:
Using the free and open situation of the aftermath of Iran’s revolution,
MKO terrorists could find a chance to equip themselves in order to start a
bath of blood in the country.
Terrorists did whatever they could…
Providing safe places and torture devices, which only were available for
world’s most horrible Mafia, from the beginning revealed what they
thought of…
3 revolutionary guards, an innocent person and one of organization
members were tortured inhumanely after they were suspected by MKO
members. Those who were involved in the torture of these people are as
follows:
Masoud Rajavi, who is now under the control of Americans after serving
Saddam for years,
Hussein Abrishamchi (Kazem), one of influential members of the group
who’s now under the control of Americans,
Mehdi Katirayee (Rahim), who was killed in an operation in the favor of
Saddam,
Masoud Qorbani (Taghi), one of influential members of the group who
was killed in an operation, performed in the favor of Saddam,
And finally, Mehran Asdaghi called Bahram, the military commander of
terrorists in Tehran, who disclosed terrorists’ horrible crimes. Mehran
Asdaghi called Bahram.
About him, MKO’s leadership had said: the radios of Revolutionary
Guards and Law Enforcement will work until there’s Bahram and if he is
not they won’t work.
He was the head of MKO”s workers section in Tehran.
With the start of terrorist activities of MKO, he was transferred to
terrorist teams whose duty was to kill and assassinate people. Of his
activities we can refer to:
Attacking Revolutionary Guards center in Tehran,
Invading to the house of a cleric called “Rabbani-e Amlashi”,
Assassinating Besharat, Majlis representative
Unsuccessful assassination of Javad-e Mansouri, Mohammed Khamenei,
Col. Hejazi and Mousavi-e Khoeeniha.
From 1982, he starts invading people and setting the houses ablaze in
order to frighten people.
Special Section
Mehran Asdaghi: after the events of 20th and 28th June and since MKOs
couldn’t equip all their forces with weapons, they decided to select skilled
persons and arm them so that they could be used in a special section.
At that time, the criterion for choosing members was their skill to use
weapon. The purpose was at first to train these people as commanders
and to perform big operations. These guys soon became professional
terrorists.
The head of these tough teams says to his men: “nobody should stay
alive. Everyone should know that we are not kidding.”
These teams attacked a high school in Tehran and shot students, attacked
a bank and killed all its employees. They massacred a lot of people and
their leader encouraged them as they say themselves.
Intelligent work
These fully armed, tough teams were beaten by Law enforcement.
Bahram (Mehran Asdaghi) says: in May 2, many of our team-homes had
been identified by the police and many of our main members had been
killed in the clashes. We didn’t know who was beating us! Leadership
said that we should arrest anyone who seems suspicious and should be
tortured and investigated in order to find their intelligent knowledge.
Engineering Work
In a mad movement, Organization ordered us to arrest anyone suspicious
and to act immediately. We should kidnap them and torture them in order
to get information from them.
This, I mean torturing, was called “Engineering Operation.”

Kidnapping and torturing Abbas-e Effat Ravesh (details)

Abbas Effat Ravesh; married, shoemaker

Accusation: his wife believed in Hizballah

Summary report:
Khosro Zandi, MKO member: MKO leaders ordered us to kidnap a
shoemaker. Mostafa Ma’dan Pishe (Rahman), who was the commander
of the team, I and Ja’far were to kidnap this shoemaker.
At 10:30 we went to his shop and took him out under the pretext that we
are revolutionary guards and that he should answer a few questions. After
taking him to our car, we tied his hands and closed his eyes. We took him
to a safe place which was prepared for torturing.
Mehran Asdaghi: this house belonged to Hussein Abrishamchi and was
controlled by special section. The walls and the floor of the bathroom
were covered with a thick plaster so that nobody could hear the voices
from bathroom. This shoemaker was taken to the house and was tortured
in order to get information about the activities of his wife. They hit his
face and feet with a cable. Since the case was all false, they got no
information.
After getting no information from him by MKOs, he was killed and was
buried, along with 2 other corpses, in deserts around Tehran.
Details of the case:
Mehran Asdaghi, the commander of terrorist teams in Tehran:
The accusation of that shoemaker (Abbas Effat Ravesh), whose
identification was done by my colleague (Masoud Qorbani), was that his
wife was a supporter of Islamic republic. He should be kidnapped and we
had to get information from him.
The mission was given to Mostafa Ma’dan Pisheh. He and his team
(Khosro Zandi and Mohammed Ja’far Hadian) went to the shoemaker’s
home at 10 pm but he was in his shop. So they went there at 10:30,
showed him their weapons and forged IDs. They asked him to go with
them in order to answer a number of questions. The shoemaker was
unaware of the matter, so he accepted to go with them. Ja’far had
prepared a car, weapons, handcuff, and something to close his eyes. He
had taken the car to a street near Shemiran St.
The house was in Bahar Street and it wasn’t very crowded. It was a 2
story building. It had kitchen, hall, toilet, bathroom, yard and basement.
As the shoemaker entered the house he was tortured severely. From the
beginning it was clear that he had no information. Despite shoemaker’s
cries, who said didn’t know what we wanted, torture continued.
The place for torturing was in the bathroom. He was tortured for some
days. Masoud Qorbani had tied the shoemaker to a chair and although we
knew that he has no information we tortured him. I hit him with a cable
and Masoud had tied his mouth. We were sweating after a while and we
were tired, so we finished it. Masoud said: “although we couldn’t get
information, we revenged.”
We ordered home and Masoud Qorbani and Javad Mohammedi washed
their hands and faces and went to our officials to ask what to do.
We had to kill the shoemaker since it was our policy that nobody should
get out live whether that person had information or no. so we killed him
along with two other revolutionary gurads.
We tied two revolutionary guards to the chair and closed their eyes, then
we made them unconscious with leaden rods. We injected them with
cyanide shots. Their throats were snoring while they were dying. We tied
them tightly and put them in the car trunk. At 9 pm we delivered the
corpses to Khosro Zandi. He and Mohammed Ja’far Hadian took them to
bury them.

a living. On July 9, 1982 he was kidnapped because he was standing in
Eskandari Street near Sarbaz swimming pool; he was waiting for his kids.
After 2 days he was killed.
His body was found on July 11, 1982 in Sohrevardi Street, Zahedan
Alley, before No. 26, in a half-built building, while he was tied. His body

Beheshte-zahra as an unknown person.
Full Report
Mehran-e Asdaghi, the commander of terrorists in Tehran: We kidnapped
Khosro Riahi two days after kidnapping Shoemaker and two
revolutionary guards because our team had seen him in front of their
house in Eskandari Street while he had leaned on his car. Our team had
become suspicious about him and thought that he is watching their house,
so they followed him but couldn't kidnap him. The next day, they saw
him again at that place, so this time they kidnap him.
Majid-e Rahbar and Mahmood-e Rahmani, from special terrorist section,
went closer to him and showed forged ID cards and introduced
themselves as revolutionary guards. After that they inspected him but
found nothing. They took him to their car by force and closed his eyes
and told him they were taking him to Guards center.
They brought Khosro to torture house in Bahar Street while his eyes were
close.
I, was there in the house with Mostafa Ma'dan Pisheh vand Shahram
Roshan Tabar. We took shoemaker and 2 revolutionary guards to another
room and brought him to Bathroom and tied him with rope. We asked
him to introduce himself.
He said that he was a teacher. We looked at his card which belonged to
Education and Training Organization.
We asked the reason of his presence in Eskandari Street, he said that he
was waiting for his kids who had gone to swimming pool.

We started torturing him and we hit him with cable. He shouted and we
held his mouth.
We went further and burnt his hands and waist with hot rod but he
repeated his own words. We didn't know what to do and on the other
hand torturing 2 revolutionary guards was more important for us so we
left him without any results.
The next day I was at home with Mostafa and Shahram when I heard
someone shouting; I ran to the hall and saw that he is skirmishing with
Mostafa and Shahram and asks for help.
He could have fought with them by the pretext of going to toilet.
I shot a bullet into his foot. He fell and became silent. We were tying him
up again when he started crying and shouting.
We were trying to make him silent when Mostafa took the pistol and shot
into his head.
Khosro fell down and his blood flowed inside bathroom.
Since much blood had gone into the bathroom we washed Khosro's body
and tied his body with cable so that we could put his body into the rear
booth of the car.
I told Mohammed Reza to bury his body in desert but since he didn't have
tools to dig the ground he had left his body in a ruin in Sohrevardi Street.
Details of kidnapping and torturing Habib Roosta

Habib Roosta, 28, married, 2 children

Lived in Tehran, was employed in Gas company

Was a supporter of Mojahedin-e Khalq

Accusation: suspected
He was a political prisoner in Shah's prisons. When he was in prison he
became acquainted with MKO, after the revolution he continued his
relationship with the organization. He first worked in Teachers section in
the organization and then was promoted to the head of teachers' relations
section. In early 1980 he was working in Teachers association. His wife
was the cousin of Kazem Zolanvar, one of influential members of MKO
during the Shah governorship. After the June 20, 1981, he acted secretly
for the organization as a trusted guy so that the members of the
organization used his house to hide.
Brief Report
On July 1, 1982 at 17:20 his corpse was found in Naran Village hills
while it was tied inside a blanket.
Legal Examiner, after a series of examinations on Habib Roosta, Said:
1- The body belongs to a man, almost 28; his feet tied tightly in two
points: thighs and legs and also his hands were tied with that same plastic
rope. A piece of that rope has been wrapped around his neck so that the
body has bent and ropes have gone deep into the skin.
2- His clothes include black underwear with white spots and a white
undershirt.
3- Whole body was wrapped up in a blanket.
4- In examination it was found that a part of skin has been removed.
5- Around eyes were puffed up and knees were scraped.
6- On the back, there were several wounds which could be made by
pulling the body on the ground.
7- On head a big part is swollen.
8- In the neck area, the rope has gone deep in it and the skin is dark.
With the above explanation, we confirm that head has been hit by a solid
object which has caused the death. The license for burying has been
issued.

Full Report
Mehran-e Asdaghi: Masoud Qorbani was ordered by the organization to
identify a man who had betrayed the organization.
Javad-e Mohammedi, one of the members of torture team who had
contacts with Habib Roosta, made an appointment with Habib on Azadi-
Jeihoon Street.
Javad took Habib to the house in Bahar Street. As I and Masoud Qorbani
entered the room, Javad attacked Habib and we tied him with rope and
took him to bathroom. Since we wanted to frighten him, we tortured him
for half an hour without saying even a word. We hit him with cable.
Then we opened his mouth, gave him pen and paper and asked him to
start. He wanted to talk but we told him he hasn't right to talk, he should
only write.
He wrote: "what should I write?"
We hit him again with cable and asked him to start.
He wrote: "I don't know what you want me to write?"
We took a table to the bathroom and tied him to that then hit him with a
cable. We had closed his mouth so that nobody could hear his cries.
We asked him again to start and he said: "I don't know what should I say,
I'm sure there's a mistake."
I, Masoud Qorbani, Mostafa Ma'dan Pisheh and Moahammed Reza
continued torturing him and asked him to write his details:
Habib Roosta
Engineer
A member of Persi Gas Management Council
Married, 2 children
Address: Damavand Street, Shareq Alley
I was a political prisoner before revolution
But he didn't say anything about our main question. Masoud Qorbani
said: "we are the members of the Organization and you should tell us all
your disloyalties."
Habib insisted that we were wrong but we didn't notice and went on with
torturing him.
The next day, Masoud Qorbani came to the house and said that Habib is
lying. So we started torturing him again.
We emphasized that he should say how team-houses were identified by
police but he didn't have anything to tell. We tied his feet and hands with
chain. He said: "I thought you are the agents of the regime and Javad has
been cooperating with you, but now, I know that you are the members of
Mojahedin-e Khalq. Believe in me, I have never betrayed the
organization. I was in prison when Shah ruled the country, there I became
familiar with MKO. I like them, how can I betray them?"
Masoud said: "you can't deceive us with these words…"
Another tool which we used in torturing him was a soldering iron…
Another way we tortured him was that we didn't let him sleep. He was
very sleepy. During 2 first days we tortured him very much so that he
couldn't go to toilet and he crawled on the ground.
After a few days, Masoud Qorbani said that our masters believe that we
haven't worked well and they want to follow the work themselves.
Increase the security of the house because on of officials called Abdullah
(Ezzatullah Ashtari) wants to come here. (Masoud Qorbani had told me
that he works in a place in which all security lines are drawn).
Abdullah told us that Habib is experienced and it's hard to get
information from him, but we know he has been involved in identifying
team-houses.
Abdullah covered his face and entered the bathroom. Habib was
frightened. Abdullah said: "you don’t tell the truth and Habib didn't tell
anything because he was frightened."
We tied him again on the table and tortured him. He said: "I will tell
everything." We brought pen and paper for him and he started:
"I have disclosed the location of team-houses."
Abdullah gave him some other questions and he wrote something.
Abdullah said: "why do you lie?"
Habib said: "I am writing lies because I am afraid."
Abdullah ordered us to torture, and we tortured him up to 9 pm and kept
him awake that night.
The next day we started again but Abdullah said it's useless. He took
soldering iron and burnt Habib's waist and hands and we had shut his
mouth.
Abdullah said: "you had contact with the organization and financed it to
make us trust you and on the other hand you disclosed the location of
team-houses." But Habib vowed that he hadn't done that.
We tortured him until the evening. Abdullah wanted to leave, he said: "he
knows that if he talks we will kill him, so he doesn't tell anything. So we
kill him. Kill him and bury his body in desert."
After Abdullah went, we tortured Habib so that he may have something
to tell. Mostafa had shut his mouth by putting his hands on it. Suddenly
Habib moved and we heard his throat snoring. We thought that he is
playing with us and didn't notice.

Habib's body was loose. We opened the ropes but he was dead….
Details of Kidnapping and torturing Shahrokh Tahmasebi

Shahrokh Tahmasebi, 28, single

The member of central committee

Brief Report:
In order to stop the strikes on team-houses in Tehran, the leaders of the
organization started taking some measures such as torturing suspected
people. In the previous parts we told you the story of torturing a
shoemaker, a teacher and one of the supporters of this organization.
On July 1982, one of the revolutionary guards (Shahrokh Tahmasebi) was
kidnapped and finally killed after 10 days of torturing. His body was left
in Abbas Abad region in Tehran.
It seems that he has not been involved in intelligent cases, even if he was
he didn't tell anything during torturing. So that Nasser Farahani, one of
the kidnappers tells his masters that "we were his prisoners during these
10 days."
Full Report
Mohammed Javad-e Beigi, one of the members of MKO and Special
Section: after the May 2 in which almost 20 team-houses were raided and
it was heavier than the strikes of January 9, the organization's analysis
was that there are powerful intelligent behind the attacks…
Then, the organization ordered us to get more information about this.
About the way that raids are done, persons, and …
Regarding this, we were ordered to identify Shahrokh Tahmasebi. The
kidnapping team constituted of Reza Mir Mohammed (Farhang), Hussein
Islami (mojtaba), Jamal-e Mohammedi Pilehvar (Kamal) and Ali Abbasi
Dolat Abadi (Hadi).
In July 1982, after kidnapping him he was transferred him to Bagh Alley.
Since he was tied and wrapped up in a blanket, the landlord became
suspicious and called the police, we immediately took him to our team-
house on Khajeh Nezam Street.
Team-house on Khajeh Nezam Street belonged to a couple named Fariba
Eslami (Shahla Salehi pour) and Mohammed Qadiri (Manoochehr
Ahmadian Fard).
The mediator of this house with the organization was Javad-e
Mohammedi (Taher) who was himself in Mehran-e Asdaghi's torture
team.
Fariba Eslami (Shahla Salehi pour):
In January 1981, I married with Mohammed Qadiri and during
kidnapping and torturing Shahrokh Tahmasebi I was at home as a
witness.
They prepared bathroom as torture place and a man called Akbar
(Mohammed Javad Beigi) came for investigation and tortured Shahrokh.
Sometimes they took him to the bathroom and sometimes put him in a
small closet which was only 1 meter in 1 meter while his mouth was shut.
During all this time we were not allowed to leave the house.
I heard they whipped him, but I could only hear him moaning because
they had shut his mouth.
Ali Abbasi (Hadi) tortured him with cables.
Once I woke up at 2 AM, I heard that he wanted water; but I didn’t give
him water and went to sleep.
Shahrokh Tahmasebi was killed in this house. They put his body in one
big box and tied him with rope. Took him to Abbas Abad region and
buried him there.
Details of kidnapping and torturing Taleb Taheri and Mohsen Mir Jalili

The organization was itself at the center of torturing and those who
directed the cases were Masoud Rajavi, Ali Zarkesh, Mahmood Atayee,
Mehdi Eftekhari, Mehdi Katirayee and Hussein Abrishamchi
Taleb Taheri, 16
Mohsen Mir Jalili, 25
Accusation: membership in Revolutionary Guard Center

Mehran Asdaghi: the central team-house was at Karoon Street. Mehdi

Katirayee and Hussein Abrishamchi were there and Javad Mohammedi
was the physical guard of the house.
Taher, while guarding, sees someone very suspicious outside the house;
so he starts identifying him.
The next day, sees that person again with someone else. He reports it and
masters order to kidnap them…
Taher, accompanied by Reza Hashemloo and Mohammed Ja'far Hadian,
kidnapped these two young persons. In the street they blocked their way
and introduced themselves as revolutionary guards…
They took them to the house on Bahar Street (the place for torturing). The
bathroom of this house had been chosen as a place for torturing. Its walls
had been modified with thick plastic so that no body could hear the
sounds inside the bathroom.
The devices in this house included rope and cable, mask, handcuffs,
leaden rods, chain, lock and cyanide and …
Taher (javad Mohammedi) were responsible for torturing along with
Mostafa Madan Pisheh, Shahram Roshan Tabar…
They acted immediately in order to see whether the team-house on
Karoon Street has been identified or not?
After inspections their ID cards, that showed they're revolutionary guards,
were found…they tied him to the chair and put the chair on the ground..
they hit them with thick cable and had shut their mouths with a piece of
cloth…
To frighten them we wore masks. Once I wore mask and entered the
bathroom. I saw a 17-year-old boy in the corner of bathroom while his
hands and feet were tied with chain. His name was Taleb Taheri; they had
beaten him very bad. There were swells on his body and his feet. Then I
went to the other room to see other person who was called Mohsen Mir
Jalili. He was 24 or 25. he was tied with chain.
On his body there were swells. He was beaten with cable…
Mostafa Madan Pisheh said: "we tortured them yesterday to learn
whether they have been inspecting our house or not. They deny it and it
seems that they haven't done that…"
I prepared some questions and started torturing. We took them in turns to
the bathroom and tied them to chair, then we hit them with cable. They
shouted and cried of pain. Mostafa shut their mouths with a piece of
cloth. I hit them very much so that the blisters on their feet started
bleeding…
When that happened mostafa bandaged their them and prepared them for
a new torturing.
I repeatedly asked them questions and they denied. Masters told us that
they have information…
The other day, I started my work. First Javad Mohammedi started then
tied them to the chairs and pour boiling water on their blisters so that the
blisters started bursting. We took out their teeth with pliers while their
mouths were full of blood due to the previous tortures. We did this while
they had lost their stamina. While they were moaning we cut their ears…
they became unconscious and conscious repeatedly…
Once one of them was regaining consciousness when Taghi (Masoud
Qorbani) put the hot iron on his waist and he became unconscious
again…
We poured boiling water on their hands and faces so that their face
swelled and then we took of their hair which was burnt then we hit them
with leaden rods so that we broke the jaw of one of them.
We hit the cable on the place of blisters, so the blood flowed. Taher
(Javad Mohammedi) made wounds on their bodies with a knife he had.
All parts of their body were bloody and we had got nothing so that we
took the eye of one and finally decided to kill them…
Masoud Qorbani said that masters have a plan. They have said that we
should kill these guys then take their bodies to the street and shoot them
and set them to fire in order to teach revolutionary guards a good lesson.
We started again. I and Masoud went to the bathroom and went to
Mohsen Mir Jalili. Masoud told him that if he doesn't answer we will
cook him! Then ordered me to bring the iron. He put the iron on his
waist. He opened his mouth by the pain and became unconscious. The
smell of burning had filled the area. I was frightened but I tried not to
show that….
Javad Mohammedi and Mostafa Madan Pisheh were torturing Taleb
Taheri. Javad ordered Mostafa to bring a knife. He brought the knife and
Mostafa cut the arm of Taleb.
Taleb wanted to talk when Javad beat him in the face so that he broke his
teeth. Then he took the leaden rod and hit his face and jaws. When Taleb
opened his mouth blood flowed out with his broken teeth. Mostafa hit
him with another rod.
Mohsen Mir Jalili had regained his consciousness when Masoud ordered
me to bring boiling water. I went and brought it. Masoud said: "pour it on
his body, on his feet." I want to pour it wholly but Masoud told me pour it
slowly to torture him. I did as he ordered so that all blisters on his feet
burst and it was terrifying scene; his skin was detached from his body.
Mohsen went unconscious and when woke up again he scratched on his
sleeves. Masoud poured hot water on his hands and his hands were puffy
as if they were fried.
When I went to the room I saw a horrifying scene; a part of the skin of
Taleb's head had been torn apart and Javad Mohammedi was standing
before him with a knife in his hand. The knife was full of blood.
When Taleb became conscious he couldn't speak. I could hear only low
voices. Javad shouted angrily on him and said: "why don't you speak…".
Taleb only shook his head.
Mostafa had grabbed his head firmly and Javad cut Taleb's ear then cut
his nose. Blood flowed all over Taleb's face. He was unconscious again…
While he was unconscious Javad put the knife next to his eye and pushed
it; blood flowed out. Mostafa hit Taleb with cable…
I was hitting Mohsen with a cable when he gained his consciousness.
When he opened his mouth, a bad odor could be smelled. His body was
loose.
Then we took Mohsen to another room and tied him to a chair with
chains.
Taleb was still on the chair and Javad was taking out his teeth with a
pliers. His mouth smelled awful…
Javad wanted information and Taleb didn't answer. Javad said we should
cook him then went to kitchen and brought a hot rod. He put the hot rod
on Taleb's thigh. The other time he put the hot rod on the front part of his
body and shocked him.
Javad burnt Taleb's penis and the bad smell of burnt meat and cloth filled
the atmosphere in the room.
Javad broke a bottle and cut the body of Taleb with it….
In the evening when Mostafa Madan Pisheh had shot a bullet unwillingly
we had to leave the house…
mirjalili

We closed their eyes and hit them with leaden rods so that they were
unconscious and injected cyanide in their bodies and while they were
dying we wrapped them up in blankets and put them in car…
At 9 PM we gave the car to Khosro Zandi and Mohammed Ja'far Hadian
on Nezam Abad Street to take them and bury them in desert…
When the organization found that the case has become apparent and when
it saw the number of whom took part in funeral ceremonies of these 2
guys it ordered us to stay silent and if others asked us anything tell them
that it was done by the regime itself…
