ABSTRACT

Tracer Study is a type of descriptive research that

investigates graduates who had left the institution

after completing the course or field of specialization.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the

employment status of College of Management and

Accountancy Graduates of PHINMA Araullo University on

April 2009 April 2013. Specifically, it sought to

determine the job placement profile of the graduates and

relevance of school related factors to job placement. It

also identified the work related values and skills that

contribute in meeting the demands of the present job.

This tracer study used the descriptive research design.

Out of 700 graduates, there were 637 graduates

responded: BS in Accountancy, BS in Accounting

Technology, BS in Business Administration major in

Management, BS in Business Administration major in

Marketing Management and BS in Hotel and Restaurant

Management.
xv

This study demonstrated that the graduates were

reasonably satisfied with the curriculum they received

from the college or university, and were currently

satisfied with their present jobs and occupations; but

it suggests that minor changes could be made to enhance

the overall performance of the graduates in their field

of specialization.
