The Egalitarian Federation Manifesto

We as a society didnt relinquish our power to be just simply governed, we as a society created
an institution that must acknowledge the commitments of life, liberty and the pursuit of
happiness and that we hold these truths to be self-evident that we are equals and that weve
been bestowed with certain unalienable rights.

At times, society might seem a bit disjointed and we at this organization believe in ten principles
that will help us develop and cultivate the societies in which, we can all live free of tyranny.

The following principles are:

1. Do no harm
2. Do not commit an ad-hominem
3. Allow yourself to feel emotions but then reason
4. Participate in a Socratic Debate to foster critical thinking
5. Promote Civic Literacy #KnowYourRights
6. Contextualize (e.g. history, events, issues, actions etc.)
7. Keep an open mind (e.g to new ideas, seek new ways/methods, improve oneself)
8. Be an individual of a collective society (seek collaboration and harmony)
9. Embrace science and mathematics in order to improve the livelihood of all inhabitants of
this planet (e.g. ecosystem)
10. Seek not wealth but the well-being of all

We at The Egalitarian Federation believe that all people have the right to live their lives free
from oppressive forces, we believe in laws that uplift every community not deprive them of their
basic rights (e.g. the right to healthcare, food, water, education, and shelter). We believe that
education, civic literacy, and compassion are key for early development, we want our mentors to
treat every child as human beings, not criminals, not losers, but to see them as our future to a
better world. We need instructors who are compassionate and strive to educate.
We as a society must be open at contextualizing; in order to better understand the current state of
the world (e.g. history, events, issues, and the actions of people), by embracing this method we
allow for rationality and Socratic conversations, which then will sow civil discourse and allow
for healthy controversy. Civil literacy allows for the entitlement of emotions our individuality
but we must discern from individuality and collectivism. Our individuality doesnt necessarily
mean we disappear into noise, it means that the self becomes a valuable member of society.
This means we must consider the well being of all, a collectivist society does not run on self-
interest, it seeks to empower each and everyone, I believe this is the most ethical way of going
about as a society for this mindset will play a huge role in critically analyzing policy and hold
those in power accountable.
The first step is providing equal and equitable education that empowers its citizens to combat
fascism, and a better understanding of why civic literacy is so important when it comes to
individual rights and autonomy. In addition history is a crucial component when understanding
the present, historical contexts allows us to identify moments of oppression and suppression
which fosters an intellectual civil debate. In short we encourage all members of The Egalitarian
Federation to become mentors in their community, and being a teacher is wonderful place to
start.
