from July 2 to 8.

Yes
Why or why not?
Because it was done through social media. Filipinos nowadays are using
Facebook and Twitter to keep updated on the issues regarding our country.
Most Filipinos has access to the internet whether at home or outside. This
makes it easier for Pulse Asia to gather the data for this survey.

What was the response rate? What was the extent of the undecided and no
responses? Do you think it had any effect on the final result?

Both the President and the Vice President who assumed office on June 30,
also garnered a 100 percent awareness rating, the survey showed.
Meanwhile, those who distrust Duterte constituted only 0.2 percent of
1,200 respondents nationwide, aged 18 years old and above.
Robredo has an 11 percent small/no trust rating, implying that one in 10
Filipinos distrust her.
As for those who are undecided or ambivalent in their trust in the country's
top two leaders, Duterte had an 8 percent rating while Robredo had 27
percent.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, the third
highest official of the land, registered a big plurality indecision figure of
42 percent, Pulse Asia reported.
Sereno had an awareness rating of 79 percent, trust rating of 35 percent,
distrust rating of 19 percent and a "small/no trust" rating of 19 percent.
The nationwide survey has a 3% error margin at the 95% confidence
level; subnational estimates for each of the geographic areas covered in
the survey (i.e., Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao)
have a 6% error margin, also at 95% confidence level.

High trust rating nationwide

Duterte received high trust rating nationwide 97 percent in Mindanao

where he came from, and 89 percent in both Luzon and Visayas. In the
National Capital Region he got 92 percent.
Robredo, on the other hand, got 58 percent in Luzon, 72 percent in the
Visayas, and 61 percent in Mindanao. In NCR she got 65 percent.
When it comes to social classes, Duterte obtained an 89 percent trust
rating from the ABC class, and a high 92 percent from both the D and E
classes. Robredo, meanwhile, got 53 percent from the ABC class, 64
percent from the D class and 61 percent from the E class.

Distrust ratings

As for distrust ratings, Duterte registered a zero percent rating in NCR,

Luzon, and Mindanao, and only 1 percent in the Visayas.
The distrust rating of Duterte in the ABC and D classes was also zero
percent and only 1 percent in the E class.
For Robredo, her distrust rating was highest in Luzon at 15 percent and
lowest in the Visayas at 6 percent. In the NCR, her distrust rating stood at
12 percent and in Mindanao it was 7 percent.
For the ABC class, Robredo's distrust rating was 12 percent. For the D
class it was 11 percent, and 9 percent for the E class.

How were the respondents distributed geographically (e.g. across

socioeconomic classes, by age, by sex and by other relevant classification
factors?) Do you think this might have had any effect on the results? Why?

The survey was conducted among 4,000 respondents nationwide. The

respondents were adults who are registered voters with biometrics. They
used random sampling and this might have an effect on the results because
not majority of the Filipino citizen were given opportunity to answer and
participate on the survey.
