SUBJECT : 2017 DISTRICT TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON DANCE

DATE : November 13, 2017

In consonance with the 2017 DIVISIONTRAINING-WORKSHOP ON DANCE, Cainta Il

shall conduct a 2017 DISTRICT TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON DANCE on
November 15, 2017, 8:00 AM -5:00 PM at San Juan Elementary School .

The workshop aims to:

enhance participants skills in teaching fundamental steps and movements in
dancing with consideration to basic position of feet and arms
develop their confidence, creativity and choreographic skills in dancing
promote nationalism and patriotism through folk dance
train the participants in the proper staging of folkdance

The 1-day workshop includes dance sessions, panel-discussions, lecture-

demonstrations, fora, cultural shows to be performed by all participants.

Participants to this activity are all teachers from Kinder to Grade 6 and ALS
implementor from District of Cainta l and ll . Participants are advised to wear sports dance
attire such as t-shirt, jogging pants, jazz pants, tights or shorts with decent length. Strictly
NO maong pants and No sleeveless during the conduct of the workshop. Only rubber shoes,
jazz shoes and dancing shoes are allowed to be used for footwear. No wedge or sandals

Likewise, participants per district are encouraged to bring the following props or
costumes for Festival Parade on the opening and closing program. In addition, participants
are advised to bring the following props according to their level.

A registration fee of Three Hundred Pesos (Php300.00) shall be charged each school
to cover expenses for trainers, certificates and other incidental expenses subject to the
usual accounting and auditing rules and procedures.
Attached are the Executive and Working Committees and Training Matrix.
Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
