APPLICATIONS The 2-in HSD* high shot density perforating gun system is for slimhole
Natural, stimulated, and sand operations but has applications in any completion where downhole
controlcompletions restrictions limit gun size, including through-tubing, dual-completion,
Slim holes or completion restrictions monobore, and extended-reach operations.
Deep penetration Natural completions with the 2-in HSD gun use PowerJet*
Multiple-interval perforating or PowerJet Omega* deep penetrating charges or CleanSHOT*
debris-free perforating charges.

The high shot density of the 2-in guns is ideal for perforating operations
that involve sand control, which rely on phasing in combination with big
hole charges to maximize the area open to flow. A shot density of 6spf
and60phasing can be used with UltraPack* big hole shaped charges.

Sand prevention similarly requires high shot density and optimal phasing but
employs deep penetrating charges to prevent failure of the grains around
theperforation tunnel and minimize perforation-to-perforation collapse.

Fracture stimulation requires 120- or 60-phased guns with charges

that provide a large entrance hole. If the gun can be aligned with the
preferredfracture plane (PFP), 180 phasing is used. The standard 2-in
gun has a 60 spiral hole pattern and can be loaded with either big hole
ordeep penetrating charges at up to 6 spf. A 4-spf, 180-phased gun is
also available. For special applications, other phasings and shot densities
can be made on request.

The 2-in HSD guns can be conveyed using wireline, slickline, tubing,
orcoiled tubing. Multiple guns are easily aligned by using standard
Acme-threaded intercarriers.
