For this task you will be located in the collaboration suite for the class briefing moving to room 1007
form the practical work. The activities below will be set in the context of brainstorming ideas for your
academic poster and individual documentary movie.
You will not have time to complete all of these tasks. You should continue to follow the group poster
task over next two weeks and use it to guide you in choice of topic. SUBMISSION OF POSTER TOPICS
TO BLACKBOARD IS 29 SEPTEMBER BY 11.59PM (Week 4). You can return to the individual task later
in the term when you begin your documentary work.

Week Two
a. Create an individual Module Workbook Asset from the Resource Siobhan has created.
Look at the structure of the workbook. (You may want to start your answer to What
is Reflection now, but you can finish it later)
b. Create an Action Plan add it to your workbook, then save.
c. Make a preliminary Action Plan for your documentary (this will grow and become
more detailed as module progresses)
d. Consider different types of material (Assets) that may be useful to facilitate
completing your movie (journal articles, Web Sites, movie examples, interviews,
images, sound bites)
e. Learn how to upload different classes of material (Assets) to your Individual Asset
Store
f. Linking your Personal Action Plan for your documentary to your Individual Module
Workbook. Note: when you subsequently edit and update your action plan there is
not need to re-upload the plan, it will automatically update within the workbook.
a. One person creates a Group Academic Poster Collaborative Portfolio (with guidance
from Siobhan re structure)
b. Share Portfolio with rest of group members (Note: only one person can edit the
portfolio at one time).
c. The first page should hold a list of student names and student id numbers and a
group selfie (you can easily upload photographs via Pebble Pocket)
d. Consider different types of material (Assets) that may be useful to facilitate
completing your group poster (journal articles, Web Sites, movie examples,
interviews, images, sound bites). You may want to add an Action Plan to your
portfolio.
e. Work on the content of your Group Module Workbook
f. Each person should then link the Group Academic Poster Collaborative Portfolio to
their individual module workbook.
