the unit of the constant σ.
Question 6

As we have seen, the metric unit of mass was originally related to the length
standard, with a litre (1000cm3) of water having a mass of 1kg. The standard
metric unit of volume is the m3 (cubic meter) and this volume of water was
used to define a larger mass unit called the metric ton. A metric tone is
equivalent to how many kilograms? Shows the calculations.

Two students measure the lengths of adjacent sides of their dorm room. One
reports 15ft 8in. and the other reports 4.25m. What is the area of the room in
square meter?

Translate these measurements for a metric Book of Records. Incidentally,
