It is the responsibility of each country: to
improve the quality of technical education
and to guarantee it as a right involves a
series of profound changes in educational
systems. Which must be applied on a
different social perception of society as a
whole and in greater and better
collaboration oriented between the
business sector, public administrations and
the educational sector.
For this reason, reality shows us that
training for work has been a traditionally
undervalued offer in Latin America and the
Caribbean. The same was considered to be
a very recent way of inferior quality for
those young people who fail in secondary
education or who, for economic reasons,
cannot afford it.
The International Federation of Faith and
Joy wants to contribute to the right to
training for work to be a reality for all
those who wish it; It works for this to be a
lifelong education, broadening and
strengthening its cultural and
technological base, and trying to sensitize
society in general about the strategic value
of a training offer for quality work. In this
context, it is essential to motivate the co-
responsibility of all the social actors in the
improvement of the same.
With these materials, which are the result
of the collaboration between the
programme of training for the work and
the programme of public action, and that
we now offer to the technical centers,
faith and Joy wants to promote the
dimension of public action with respect to
the training for the Work. It is about
providing educators and educators with
input to promote the educational services
of their center to their community,
generate greater demand for them and
seek more effective support from the
different social actors.
In Venezuela, Fe y Alegra has 170 schools,
