Testing Strategies

1. Define the relationship that exists between the words. The best way to do this is use the two words in a
sentence. (Golf: club Club is used in golf) The types of relationships are provided below. If more
than one choice seems to follow the relationship in the question set, look for a narrower approach.

2. Take note that the parts of speech also have to be analogous. Noun to noun, verb to verb, adjective to
adjective, etc. This also helps you eliminate the unlikely answers.

3. Consider all the choices. Even if you think you see the best answer choice immediately, do spend at
