1. Importance of understanding pupils background which would influence their motivation
in learning, especially English.
2. The correct manners in taking over the responsibility as a subject teacher for some
classes.
3. Importance of preparing lesson plan according to pupils level and also flexible in time.
4. Content knowledge that has to be equipped by an advisory teacher for any of the sports/
society/ uniform body.

ULASAN
1. Highlighting the importance of preparing lesson plan beforehand and hand it in every
week.
2. Giving insights on diverse abilities and proficiency of pupils.

1. Orientation in the classrooms.
2. Planning and executing a lesson for Year 5 English.
3. Exploring the usage of the given textbook.

1. Noticing and understanding the differences of teaching between different classes.
2. Peeking into different pupils behaviour and finding ways to tap into them.
3. Time is an important element for getting pupils tapped into our lesson effectively.
4. Textbook is crucial to be used but should also be adapted accordingly to fit into various
classroom situations.
ULASAN
1. The activity was quite enlightening as to help beginner teacher in adapting and
accommodating different teaching styles.
2. Understanding schools requirement, especially the syllabus and main reference used in
every lesson.

2. Finding and creating suitable teaching materials to be used during lessons.
3. Preparing a lesson plan which would put the teaching materials in use.
4. Created some teaching materials that were evaluated by mentor.

1. A good teaching material boosts pupils understanding of the concept/ grasp of the
focused skills.
2. Teaching materials should be created based on the teaching content, focused skills while
also considering pupils factors.
3. Challenges will arise when a class is consisted of pupils with distinct and various level of
proficiency.
ULASAN
1. Helping beginner teacher to realise the importance of creating good and useful teaching
materials.
2. Teaching materials should help pupils to realise their potentials/ improvement in learning
or understanding the taught concept.
3. As time goes, teachers skill in creating some diverse teaching materials develops
progressively.
4. Ideas for creating teaching materials can be found everywhere as long as one put his
mind to it.

2. Filling in some important documents like register book and Buku Kehadiran Murid.
3. Tutorial on accessing APDM and its functions.
4. Organising the assigned classroom and identifying the lacks.

2. Looking into APDM and understanding its function.
3. Sorting out/ updating pupils credentials in the registry as well as APDM.
4. Taking into account parents concern over their childrens wellbeing in the classroom.

1. Giving beginner teacher some ideas about being a class teacher.
2. Realising the importance of working closely with HEM in updating pupils credentials as
this will influence pupils chances in getting some benefits offered by the authorities.

1. Short briefing regarding LINUS and Ujian Lisan, preparation for next year.
2. Looking through LINUS related forms and module/ materials.

1. Possible ways to conduct LINUS screening during lesson.
2. Detecting LINUS pupils in the classroom.
3. The correct ways to fill in some of the forms.
4. Adjusting teaching style and materials to fit the situation of a classroom with LINUS
pupils.
ULASAN
1. Teaching English and Bahasa Malaysia to a class with some LINUS pupils in it will pose
some challenges to the teacher.
2. Teacher must be quick in identifying LINUS pupils and seek ways to help them according
to their own pace.

1. Assigning test papers.
2. Looking through past years English Year 3 test papers and focusing on questions format
and difficulty.
3. Finding and creating some samples of test questions for the coming March examination.
4. Accessing SAPS online and understanding its mechanics.
5. Determining TOV and ETR for new pupils/ Year 4 pupils.
ISU/PERBINCANGAN
1. Adjusting Year 4 test paper according to the latest UPSR format.
2. Familiarising pupils with the current test format indirectly by adapting it into teaching
materials.
3. Understanding some of the purposes/ hidden goals to be achieved through the March
and May examination.
4. Considering factors that should be taken into account while designing test papers.
5. Marking scheme and mechanics.
ULASAN
1. A stepping stone for beginner teacher to prepare the assigned exam paper for the
upcoming examination.
2. As an extension of a teachers capability to come up with good assessing tools.

1. Discussion about the elements in 21st century education.
2. Creating a lesson plan with at least one of the 21st century education.
3. Executing the planned lesson.
4. Discussing some of the challenges faced/ observation while implementing 21st century
education in the classroom.
ISU/PERBINCANGAN
1. Group work is a good element, but should have taken into account some factors such as
the grouping itself, pupils interaction and proficiency, and also task difficulty.
2. Questions or activities that encourage thinking skills should be used but moderately as to
prevent TMI or confusion.
3. Technology is a plus, but should not be too dependent on it to transfer the input to
pupils.
ULASAN
1. Helping beginner teacher to realise the different amount of effort in putting 21st century
education elements in different classes and different subjects taught.
2. Classroom control is crucial to ensure that the lesson is effectively executed, especially
lesson that involves communication.
