PROJECTS

9th Grade Student Government

Vernal Suicide Prevention
In a vernal junior high, a young boy committed suicide. My student
government bought their student government jackets and went to their
school to teach them leadership skills and suicide prevention. I also
helped direct and plan a show full of different cultures dances to be
shown at Vernal, as well as our own junior high.

School Supplies Collection LDS Personal Progress

I did a 10 hour project that involved collection school supplies and
making bags for young children who couldn't afford to buy their
supplies on their own. It was a wonderful opportunity and my
community donated hundreds of dollars worth of supplies.

Cultural Assemblies E
vergreen Junior High
I helped plan and supervise assemblies that allowed students at
Evergreen Junior High to show their cultural diversity and even perform
cultural dances. We performed this assembly at Vernal Elementary and
at Utah State in Logan, Utah. I was lucky enough to work closely with the
director as her assistant director and was even able to perform in a
hispanic dance.

Days for Girls Hygiene KitsLDS Young Women

Organization
As a church group, we volunteered to help make hygiene kits for women
and young girls in Africa who could not afford to buy personal hygiene
products. It was an amazing experience to help these young women get
away from the dangerous and scary situations that they were put in at
times of need.

Youth Council Committee

In my Community
I am currently a part of our Youth Council Committee representing 250
youth in my community. WE are in charge of large service projects
performed by the youth and plan inspirational meeting where a
prestigious speaker teaches about hope, courage, and leadership.
