- Identify common body parts and recognize

the names of body parts.

- Writing the body parts in rotation activity

(learning centers) in each group.

- Introduce the movement of body parts for

Kinesthetics and Visual students, and show
the labeling the display board activity.

PEER OBSERVATION: AREA OF FOCUS

I observed my peer Badreyya on Body Parts Lesson, it was a great lesson in morning. Students engaged with the
teacher, the student teacher was fully excited with students in this lesson.
Observed Strengths: Suggestions for further development:

- Using the Total Physical Response Strategy in the
lesson. Asking students "show me where is your feet,
chest, leg?"
- The teacher was organized and well-prepared for the
lesson.
- I liked that she has (Star of the week, Star of the day)
management strategy. She used them during the
class.
- The rotation during the activity time was excellent
activity to let students access all the challengeable
activities (differentiation strategy was implemented
in process).
- You have a great formative assessment, you used the
flashcards effectively and you emphasize in the words
more than twice.
Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague): e.g. how did you feel about conducting a formal
- Work in giving simpler instructions, for example: ask
students to explain the activity instead of you.
- Use the management after each activity not at the
end of the lesson, because students will be more
involved on task.
- Use eye contact with students when doing the
actions and where is this specific body part.
- Try to do not give your students your back when
doing the display activity.
- Students at the back needs to be involved in the
warm-up.
- Use drilling after the activities (rotation learning
centers) will be better.
