 INTRODUCTION

1. Arrangement
The Land Earth Stations are arranged in sections corresponding to the World Meteorological Organization Regions:

Region I - Africa
Region II - Asia
Region III - South America
Region IV - North and Central America
Region V - South-West Pacific
Region VI - Europe

Within each regional section, the stations are arranged in English alphabetical order of countries.

2. Layout
The information concerning each station is presented in the following manner:

2.1 Country
This column shows the country in which the LES is located, followed by the INMARSAT region: Atlantic Ocean,
Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean.

2.2 Station
This column shows the name of the LES

2.3 The date

The date is given at the top of the page, it is either that of entry into force or the date on which the information was
supplied to the Secretariat.

2.4 Areas from which reports may be accepted

This column indicates the areas from which the reports may be accepted, as specified by the National Meteorological
Centre (NMC) concerned.

2.5 Name of NMC

This column gives the name of the predetermined NMC to which the telex message will be routed.

2.6 LES code

This column gives the identification code of the LES.

2.7 Automatic Service Code (41)

This column indicates whether the automatic service for Meteorological Reports is provided by the LES. The entry "X"
means that automatic service code (41) is available to ensure the automatic routing to the predetermined NMC of the
telex message containing the ship's weather report(s). In this case, the country code and the telex number of the NMC
are not entered.

2.8 Country Code

This column gives the country code. If the automatic service code (41) is available, the country code is not entered.

2.9 Telex number of NMC (where applicable)

This column gives the telex number of the NMC when applicable. If the automatic service code (41) is available, the
telex number of the NMC is not entered.

2.1 Pays
Indique le pays dans lequel est situe la LES, suivit par la rgion INMARSAT (Ocan Atlantique, ocan Pacifique,

2.2 Station
Cette colonne indique le nom de la LES.

2.3 La date
La date figurant au haut de la page est soit la date d'entre en vigueur de la diffusion, soit la date laquelle les
renseignements ont t communiqus au Secrtariat.

2.4 Zones en provenance desquelles il est possible daccepter les messages

Cette colonne indique les zones en provenance desquelles il est possible d'accepter les messages selon les indications du
Centre Mtorologique National (CMN) concern.

2.5 Nom du CMN

Cette colonne indique le nom du CMN prdtermin vers lequel le message tlex sera achemin.

2.6 Code de la LES

Cette colonne indique le code d'identification de la LES.

2.7 Code de service automatique (41)

Cette colonne indique si le service automatique des messages mtorologiques est fourni par la LES. Lindication X
signifie que le code de service automatique (41) peut tre utilis pour assurer lacheminement automatique du message
tlex contenant un ou plusieurs messages mtorologiques des navires vers le CMN prdtermin. Dans ce cas, le code
du pays et le N de tlex du CMN ne sont pas indiqus.

2.8 Code du pays

Cette colonne indique le code du pays. Si on peut utiliser le code de service automatique (41), le code du pays n'est pas
indiqu.

2.9 N tlex du CMN

Cette colonne indique le numro de tlex du CMN s'il y a lieu. Si on peut utiliser le code de service automatique (41), le
numro de tlex du CMN n'est pas indiqu.

2.1 Pas

2.2 Nombre de la estacin

En esta columna figura el nombre de la CES.

2.3 La fecha
La fecha que figura al principio de la pgina representa ya sea la fecha de entrada en vigor de la difusin o la fecha en la
cual se ha comunicado la informacin a la Secretara.

2.4 Zonas de la cuales pueden aceptarse informes

En esta columna se indican las zonas de las que pueden aceptarse informes, con arreglo a lo especificado por el Centro
Meteorolgico Nacional (CMN) interesado.

2.5 Nombre del CMN

En esta columna figura el nombre del CMN predeterminado al cual se encauzar el mensaje por telex.

2.6 Clave de la CES

En esta columna se indica la clave de indentificacin de la CES

2.7 Clave de servicio automtico (41)

En esta columna se indica si la CES proporciona el servicio automtico para los informes meteorolgicos. La seal "X"
significa que se dispone de una clave de servicio automtico (41) para asegurar el encaminamiento automtico hacia el
CMN predeterminado del mensaje por telex que contiene el informe o los informes meteorolgicos procedentes de
buques. En este caso, no se indica la clave del pas ni el nmero de telex del CMN.

2.8 Clave del pas

En esta columna se indica la clave del pas. Si se dispone de clave de servicio automtico (41), no se consigna la clave
del pas.

2.9 Nmero del telex del CMN (si procede)

En esta columna se indica el nmero de telex del CMN, si as procede. Si se dispone de clave de servicio automtico
