Service name : FTP(File Transfer Protocol)

Definition of FTP : FTP is a protocol that transfer file between
computers on the Internet over TCP/IP connections.
Uses Port : 21(tcp)
Configuration name : vsftpd.conf
Location : /etc/vsftp/vsftpd.conf
Work : transfer file between computers.
 Client Configuration

Set same IP address range of FTP server.

Write ftp://192.168.1.1 as assigned this IP in my FTP server.
 Server Configuration

command- yum install vsftpd

Start service - systemctl start vsftpd.service
enable service-systemctl enable vsftpd.service
firewall-cmd add-port=21/tcp permanent
Reload firewall firewall-cmd --reload
Run systemctl restart vsftpd.service
 Troubleshoot

Mount cdrom
Crate local repository

Service name : DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)

Defination of DHCP : It is a protocol that enables a server to
automatically assign an IP address to a computer.
Configuration name : dhcpd.conf
Location configuration : /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf
 Server configuration

Install DHCP package.

Must use static IP address.
Modify configuration file.
Enable and dhcpd.service
 Client configuration

Connection up network adapter

Client machine get IP address automatically from DHCP server
 Troubleshoot

Check installation status of package.

Check the service start and enable.
Check network adapter status of client
