Constant-thickness tip blade stays sharp and continues to penetrate after
many hours of use in tough digging conditions.

Built for Longer Life

Sixty percent of the total tip length extends beyond the pocket to maintain a
high-penetration profile longer. And 48-57% of the tip's weight is wear material
for longer overall life.
Through-hardened Cat DH-3 steel maintains its hardness at the elevated
temperatures often generated in high impact excavating.
Penetration Plus Tips are well suited for difficult-to-penetrate materials like
sedimentary rock, cemented gravel and poorly shot rock, which can quickly
blunt or chip other tips.
