How to Make Withdrawal

To apply for EPF education withdrawal, you need to complete relevant application
forms provided by the EPF. The completed forms, together with the required
supporting documents, can be submitted either over the counter or by mail.

It is important that you fill up the right forms correctly and make sure that all your
supporting documents are supplied and in order. This is to avoid unnecessary delays
in processing your application, if not rejected all together.

Please take note that thumbprint impressions are required for the application form
and MyKad photocopy. You must use the thumbprint pad that is specifically meant
for making thumbprint impressions. Use of other types of materials such as the
inkpad for rubber stamps is not acceptable by the EPF.

If there are differences in details of your records, you may submit the following
supporting documents:

• Birth certificate, if the difference is in your stated birth date; and


• Certification letter from the National Registration Department.

5. Recognition or Accreditation Letter for Course
• The public institutes of higher learning AND private
institutes of higher learning which already have university /
university college / overseas branch campus status which
have been listed by the EPF are exempted.
(a) Academic OR Professional Courses
A valid approval letter to conduct stipulate course issued by
the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher
Education or Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);
(b) Professional OR Skill-based Courses √ √
Course recognition letter as issued by the Training Division,
Public Services Department (PSD) OR any Professional Body
recognized by the government to be equivalent with Diploma
or better.
(c) Vocational Courses
Course accreditation letter as issued by the Department of
Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources and
recognized to be equivalent to a Diploma (level 4) OR a
Bachelors Degree (level 5).
6. Copy of the latest examination result (students of public institutes
of higher learning are exempted).
• For local and overseas private institutes of higher learning √ √

year of study.
7. Proof of Qualification according to allowed education levels √ Copy of

Note:
However, local students of private institutes of higher learning are
required to produce supporting documents if:

Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher
Education
(a) Confirmation letter from institutes of higher learning regarding
student’s terms of enrollment; AND
(b) Any other academic qualification paper that can support the
application (if any)

(a) Employer’s confirmation letter stating experience; AND
(b) Confirmation letter from institutes of higher learning regarding
student’s terms of enrollment; AND
(c) Any other academic qualification paper that can support the
application (if any)
8. Interview form (interview session with the student which will be To be

Note:

Members who wish to submit their applications through post must complete Application for
Member’s Registration and Amendment of Member’s Particulars Form (KWSP3) and
attach it together with the application form. Members are advised to read the instructions
in the guide carefully before filling in the form.
