Project Title: sliding mode control of a three phase induction motor

Project Objectives: In this project, sliding mode control (SMC) scheme is employ to three phase
(Describe briefly induction motor to replace the typical vector speed control method for motor dynamic
performance. SMC is a simplify method to control the dynamic performance of the
induction motor rather than using vector control method. It is important to having a
reliable and robust induction motor control compared with traditional induction motor
due to their special working conditions and the complex workable scenarios. Thus, a
proper controller needs to be designed. This project presents the modelling of a three
phase induction motor with sliding mode control for motor dynamic performance.

Expected Outcomes: A matlab simulation for proposed SMC controller for three phase induction motor
