Self Service Tips Setup Details Prepared By: Manohar

(Tips are Messages define your application messages as per your business requirements)
Step 1.Create Message in the Message window ((N): Application Developer-
>Application->Message)
1. Enter the Messages Name
2. Select the Language and Application
3. Write the Current Message Text as per your business requirement

Step 2: Set the Profile Option ((N) System administrator-Profile->System)


Enable the following two profile option
1. Personalization self service define Yes
2. Personalization Region Yes
STEP 3: ((N) Employee self service-Personal information).
1. Click on the Personalize Basic Details for the personalization of Tips and
Prompt

2. Click on the Labeled Field Layout Create item icon


3. Select the Function Name in Level field
4. Select the Item style
5. Enter the Property ID (Enter the Property for Ex: XModification_Date_Of_Birth.)
6. Select Tip Message Name from the list of values. This message is the same that
you have previously defined in step 1.

7. Then click on button


8. Click on . This is in the next window

Here we can see your Message (Tip) on the screen
