INTRODUCTION

Every day people discover different ways to make the human daily activity be
more easier and simpler through making gadgets or high technology machines to do the
work specially in lifting heavy materials, to do the work more faster and accurate, and it
is also beneficial for those people who has disabilities and special cases that needs to stay
in a specific area.
In our generation we already have automatic machines but not usually it is
unmanned, there are still machines that needs a human help or human manipulation for
the machine to start working like a water dispenser, a human needs to push the button for
the cold water so that the water flows and refill the cup with water. In life, most of us
experienced different scenarios regarding with this. Annoying things happened when you
over pushed the button for the water and the result is the water over flows, when this
happens the possible effect is you might get wet.
So the researchers formulated a way to reduce these efforts and possible effects
when the person over pushed the button. The researchers decided to make an automatic
bin filler that is also similar with the concept of the water dispenser but whats the
difference between the two is that this automatic bin filler is automatic, when the
machine detected an empty plastic cup or any types of cup it automatically refill it with
water or juice and it also automatically stops the refilling process when it detected that
the cup is almost full.
This machine can be used in any establishments, schools and public places to
provide the needs of the people in an easier, faster and hassle freeway.
OBJECTIVES

The proposed project objective is to design and implement automatic water

pouring machine using a microcontroller 16F887, to study and learn the type and
characteristic of pump motor for the fluid system and the sensor to use. It is also to learn
about the Relay function and the concept of the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor).
The system is capable of fully automated water/cola using motors and sensors.
The system also senses if glass is placed at the counter. The system uses LDR sensors to
detect presence of glass and then the sensors send a signal to the microcontroller. The
microcontroller now processes the information sent by the sensors to determine if glass is
present. On detecting a presence of the glass in the counter the system now sends a signal
to the controller who checks if glass is present and then it starts the motor to pour water
in glass using water pump as long the glass is present.

RECOMMENDATION

It is to detect if the content of the glass is full or it contains water/cola already, to

implement it we need to use a weight sensor.
