There has been a great deal of confusion regarding the correct procedures or ordering office supplies.
Therefore, I will explain the proper steps to follow here. First, all requests for supplies must be typed and
signed. Only typed requests will be accepted because I am tired of trying to decipher illegible
handwriting. Second, all requests must be on my desk by the fifteenth of every month. I make out the
order once each month and do not want to have to make addendums or extra orders. From now on, late
requests will be put on hold until the following month. Requests that are received on time and approved
by me will be sent on to the Accounting Department for processing.
Please be aware that it takes from two to six weeks for supplies to arrive once the order has been
made, so it is important to plan ahead and make your requests accordingly.

I feel that it is rather excessive to charge a separate fee for items 2 and 5.
Connecting the cables is merely part of the installation process. I also feel that it is
inappropriate to have charged an additional mechanic's fee-surely I am already paying the
mechanic in item 2 for the installation.
Finally, I would have appreciated knowing in advance that I would be charged for disposal of
the old battery. Had I known this, I would have liked to have taken it for disposal myself, since
the public garbage disposal site does NOT charge a fee.
Perhaps Advance Autoparts would like to consider giving customers a breakdown of costs
before carrying out repairs. I, for one, would probably not have used your services had I known
exactly what I would be charged for.
Yours faithfully,
Ted Varani
Sincerely,
Kevin Heath,

Harneys , the states top electronics retailer, has announced a fall in profits of 11.5% for the
first six months of the year. This represents an eye-watering $ 21 million loss. The retail giant
blamed poor consumer demand and a disappointing holiday season. Harneys C.E.O Arthur
Ledeal said, Confidence among consumers has been low since the New Year, and we dont
expect it to pick up anytime soon. However, the structure of the industry is strong and we hope to
recover toward the end of the year. He added that Harneys intends to close five of its stores
across Oregon in the coming months. This is part of a recovery plan that is expected to reduce
overheads by $ 10 million over the next three years. The companys stock price fell 14% after
the announcement.

I love Wannabe and am a really big fan. I would like to register a vote for Mandy Green and a vote for
Tyson Bailey. I think they both have wonderful voices and charming personalities. I do not understand
why they were voted off. I ready do not think that the judges on Wannabe know anything about music.
They do not recognize real talent at all. If there is a second series of Wannabe, I sincerely hope that you
will not be using Samuel Jones and Alison Evans as judges. The show would be much better without
them.

Sidney James
