FAW-18W Foaming Additive

Improve stimulation and remediation effectiveness

The Baker Hughes FAW-18W foaming additive is a versatile, high-performance agent.

It promotes the formation of foam in water-based fluid systems, including linear
gels and crosslinked fluids, for hydraulic fracturing, acid systems, and nonacid matrix
stimulation fluids. Applications
Acid stimulation operations
Foaming fluids increase viscosity and surface contact while reducing hydrostatic Condensate unloading operations
pressure, making them useful in hydraulic fracturing, well deliquification, and in low-pressure gas wells
remediation operations. Hydraulic fracturing operations in low-
pressure and water-sensitive reservoirs
