TheComplainantstatesthatthefollowingfactsestablishprobablecause:

YourComplainantisapeaceofficeremployedbytheWinnebagoPoliceDepartment.Inthiscapacity,your
Complainantbelievesthefollowingtobetrueandcorrect.

OnNovember9th,2017,OfficerJacobPettitoftheWinnebagoPoliceDepartmentwasadvisedbyChief
EricOlsonthatanassaultmayhavetakenplace.ChiefOlsontoldhimthatajuvenilewiththeinitialsC.C.H.
hadbeenassaultedandknockedunconsciousbyanadultmale,WyattTungland.

OfficerPettitinvestigatedthematterbyapproachinganumberofjuvenilesandaskingiftheyhadheard
anythingaboutthefight.Hewastoldthatafighthadtakenplaceataparty,andthattheincidenthadbeen
filmed.Hecontinuedtospeakwithjuvenilesabouttheincidentanddevelopedalistofpersonsofinterest.

OfficerPettitinterviewedC.B.S.C.B.S.toldtheofficerthathehadwitnessedTunglandpunchingC.C.H.in
thefacewhileothersatthepartyheldC.C.H.down.HespecificallyidentifiedB.J.B.,DaltonNagel,and
C.R.O.asthepeopleholdingdownC.C.H.Hetoldtheofficerthatthishadhappenedatapartyat5183rd
Ave.SWinWinnebago.

OfficerPettitinterviewedC.C.H.C.C.HreportedthathehadbeeninadisputewithB.J.B.beforethenight
inquestion.Hewasinvitedtotheparty.Duringtheparty,hewasattacked.Herecalledbeingpusheddown
andpunchedintheface.Hebecameunconscious.Thenextdayhisfacewasswollenandbruised.He
returnedtoschoolforfootballpractice.B.J.B.showedhimavideoofB.J.B.andC.R.OpunchingC.C.H.in
theface.LaterC.C.H.receivedmedicalattentionanddiscoveredthathehadsufferedaconcussion
becauseoftheattack.Healsosufferedswellingandbruisesonhisface.

OfficerPettitinterviewedC.R.O.C.R.O.admittedthathe,Tungland,Nagel,andB.J.BhitC.C.H.inthehead
andfacewithopenandclosedhands.HeadmittedthatC.C.Htriedtogetup,buttheypushedhimdown
andcontinuedtohithim.

PLEASETAKENOTICE:PursuanttoMinn.Stat.609.49.,intentionalfailuretoappearfordulyscheduled
courtappearancesmayresultinadditionalcriminalcharges,andinadditiontoanyarrestwarrantthatmay
otherwisebeissuedbytheCourt.
