Summer Placements (2016-2018) 33rd Batch

Placements season this year was not only successful but brilliant in terms of matching students
interests and their aspirations. On Day 1 (20th November 2016) of the executive placement
process, 73 offers were made by 21 companies. The companies represented all major industries
in the economy and ensured that students have a choice when they make the most crucial
decision of their career. Overall 137 offers were made to the eligible students during the entire
placement process by 68 companies.

The summer internship process which is also known as corporate immersion programme
attracted 57 companies across different industries and made 120 offers. This programme expects
students to get a first-hand experience of an industry and organization of his/her choice. This
programme is made additionally rigorous by assigning a faculty supervisor who not only
monitors the progress of the project but also interacts with the project guide in the organization
to gain an understanding of the organization, its business and its culture. This helps both the
faculty and the Institution in forging the deeper connect with the organization leading to an
enduring and mutually beneficial

relationship.
