The Manager Commercial will drive the commercial activities. Responsible for Customs Clearances and
meeting Customs, Central Excise, Sales Tax & Municipal authorities for compliance and to ensure
smoother operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain commercial discipline in sales

Maintenance of customs-bonded warehouse in Hyderabad - freight & COD


guidelines/arrangements with all-India logistics companies for billing and delivery from a
Hyderabad store/godown.

Customs Clearances and meeting Customs, Central Excise, Sales Tax & Municipal authorities for
compliance and to ensure smoother operations if required.

Preparation of VAT documents, Way bill while shipment of goods in India

Service Tax Refund, Vat refund process and preparation of documents etc.

Preparation of documents & application for Custom tax scripts available in Opto division

Knowledge of Central Excise & Service Tax audit and co-ordination with Govt. Officials.

To prepare goods receipt notes and to advise Accounts/Finance Departments for payments to
suppliers.

Dispatches To see that there are no obstructions in the supply chain.

Operate shipping systems by selecting the most efficient method of shipment while ensuring on
time delivery to customer.

Verify shipment order by visually auditing and checking item on packing slip to ensure accuracy.

Participate in verification and reconciliation of inventory on quarterly basis.

Performs other related duties within the department to meet order fulfillment goals and
customer expectations.

Stores management: Sales, service & demo stock, etc.

To generate MIS reports monthly stock statement, maintain a purchase register, etc.

Maintain all records.

Qualifications:

Graduate / business degree.

Skilled with Microsoft Office and Accounting Packages viz., Navision/Tally etc.,

High energy levels, resourceful, can-do team spirit.

Trustworthy, handle sensitive/confidential issues, finance & accounts matters, etc.

Good communication skills in written & spoken English.

Maturity & ability to function independently with minimal supervision.

Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar function.
