Master Data Creation

1. Create Master Inspection Characteristics:

Search for Create Master Inspection Characteristic in Search bar. Click on Create Master Inspection Characteristic
Tile displayed on the screen.

Enter the plant and the MIC you want to create and click on Master Inspection Characteristic button below.
Enter the relevant data in the required fields

Edit the Control Indicators as per requirement and save

Characteristic 1010 PH_VALUE created.
 2. Create Inspection Method

Search Create Inspection Method in search bar and click on the tile displayed in the screen:

Enter the plant and the inspection method you need to create and click Inspection method at the bottom of the
screen:
Enter the relevant data in the required fields and click on save

Inspection Method QM-2 for plant 1010 created.

 3. Create Inspection Plan

Search Create Inspection Method in search bar and click on the tile displayed in the screen:

Enter the plant and material for which you need to create Inspection plan and click Continue at the bottom of the
screen:
Fill in the relevant fields and Save

Inspection plan with plan group 4 for Material FG129 created.

 4. Create sampling procedures

Search Create sampling procedure in search bar and click on the tile displayed on the screen:

Enter the sampling procedure to be created and Continue

Fill in the relevant data for samples and click on Save
Sampling procedure TEST2 created.
 5. Create Dynamic Modification Rule

Search Create Dynamic Modification Rule in search bar and click on the tile displayed on the screen:

Enter the Modification Rule to be created and Continue

Enter the Inspection stages and Stage change details

Click on Save
Dynamic Modification rule D01 was created.
 6. Edit Code groups

Search for Edit Code groups in search bar and select the tile shown on the screen:

Enter the Catalog and code group which needs to be changed and Continue
Click on New Entries on the Menu bar to create new Code group

Enter the new Code group and Save

To add new codes to the Code group, select the code group and double-click on the Codes folder in the Dialog
Structure.
Click on New Entries at the menu bar

Enter the new codes and save

Code group YBBRIGHT and codes created.
 7. Edit Selected sets

Search for Edit Code groups in search bar and select the tile shown on the screen:

Enter the Catalog, Plant and selected set which needs to be changed and Continue
To add new Selected set click on new Entries in the menu bar

Enter the New Selected set and save.

To add Selected set codes, Select the selected set and double click on Selected set Codes folder in Dialog Structure

Click on New Entries

Search for the code group codes to be added to the Selected set
Select the Codes required and Click on Copy
Enter the required Valuation Code and Save
Selected set YBSMOOTH created and selected sets added to YBCOLOR.
