Learning new things is not the problem but it is how you handle the problems
that you might encounter. There are no mistakes nor coincidences, all events are
blessing given to us to learn from. Philippine Overseas Employment
Administration is specialize government agency to address the need of the
migrant workers and to connects, facilitate, and preservation of decent jobs for
the Filipino migrant workers. To ensure safety and well rounded laws intended for
the OFWs promotes protection, secures and protect the rights of the overseas
migrant workers. They secure the best terms for employment, participates in
recruitment of workers abroad and rights as a human. It is located at Ortigas
Avenue corner EDSA Mandaluyong City.

As for my On-the-Job training, this government agency might be one of the

best training ground of my chosen field. I considered different aspects in
choosing the company that i would render my OJT. I derived to the conclusion
that PEOA might give me more than enough experience that would help me in
my future specialization and it did not failed me thus it gives me more ideas about
the migrant workers and relate it to the needs of the Philippines for more
exchange of diplomatic relationship between countries and provide more efficient
works for the betterment of both parties. The Reasons behind my chosen
company is too much underlying, I just felt that POEA might give me the best
training ground because it is where servant leadership is present and i know that
this company will give the best training and working experience that i will treasure
in pursuing my dreams. I started my OJT last January 9, 2015 and we were
immediately dispatch to our given department. My choices in rendering my On-
the-Job training are closely related to my field, first is the Department of Foreign
Affairs second Bureau of immigration and third is Philippine Overseas
employment Administration. As soon as the POEA gave us the instruction to start
our OJT I've decided to purse my OJT in the institution. I have valued the fast
response of PEOA and i felt that they also valued our presence and trust us

As what Pablo Picasso says and I quote I am always doing that which I
cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it. I have learned many things
from the company. I'm able to the the task that is given using my own strategy to
address the problem that i might encounter while doing the task. It gave me more
ideas to work with my instinct and mental ability to reason out in a proper. I do
counter encoding which includes oral communication with the OFW, respond to
their worries and trying my best to give them the best answer that would make
them calm. I learned how to console the OFWs in nicest way. I learned to work
diligently and efficiently in order not to waste time and effort as well.
Learning is one at a time, you cant pile them and do the honor to assume
that you have learned everything you need. Im aware that my communication
skills improved allot specially when attending concerns of the OFWs, working
efficiently is one of my top priority upon starting my OJT and working on teams
with my co-OJT student to develop friendly relationships with them. Working
efficiently saves time and effort as well. I have applied the lessons that i learn
from my past subjects.My time management skills improved in a way that i still
have time to relax during break and focus on the things that i should do during
work and mixed with my school works.
