Lesson overview: To create digital avatars of the characters from the Dr Seuss Book The Lorax. Digital media applications will be used to create the avatars.
Students will be told to use the creativity and previous knowledge of the characters to use colour, shape and characteristics. The children will need to make their
avatars

Learning Intention: To cover the characters of The Lorax, what is sustainability and to create Avatars from the characters of The Lorax using Digital Media.

Learning outcome: To finish character avatars from the Lorax using digital media keeping in the theme of art elements and sustainability

Throughout the procedure aspect of the lesson plans: highlighted in red is each phase of the 5e learning model. This is the teaching strategy implanted for Media.

Lesson overview: Students will continue to work on their creation of Avatars within their pair, with software movie maker, on the iPads. The avatars will
be finalised with choices of characteristics, colours and accessories and placed into moving media piece, so that the avatars come to life with music and
text. Students will be expected to utilise their previous experience with movie maker and digital devices. Children will use the movie in keeping with theme
of sustainability and deforestation so that it continues within the unit of work,

Learning intention: To create a mini movie, using movie maker to bring the avatars to life, keeping with the theme Deforestation and Sustainability

Success Criteria: Created a movie with Lorax avatars with text and sound in a moving media piece.
