Lecture Objectives
Present updated information and review current research, data, status and trends in the screening,
evaluation, treatment, management, and referral of patients presenting with the following clinical
conditions/diseases:
Alzheimers Disease
Other Dementia related disorders
Discuss diagnosis, treatment, management, clinical trials, and research of Alzheimers and other related
dementias;
Apply behavioral intervention strategies and/or use medications, to address behavioral changes that occur
during the course of Alzheimers disease;
Assess, treat, and manage Lewy Body Dementia;
Recognize when to make appropriate referrals for genetic counseling;
Integrate social service tools to assist patients in accessing benefits;

College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University and the Dominican Medical Association, Inc., New
York. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University is accredited by the ACCME to provide
continuing medical education for physicians.
The College of physicians and Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA
Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.

Tuition
Tuition: $50.00 Attending; $30.00 DMA Member in Training and Students. The fee includes the academic
presentations, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and a course syllabus. Confirmation of registration
and directions to the medical center will be sent upon receipt of the registration form. Refund of registration
fee, less a $25 administrative charge, will be made if written notice of cancellation is received by April 14,
2017. No refunds can be made thereafter.
