Dandakaranya SAHYOG Ahimsa Yatra.

The Message and appeal to urban, affluent and emerging affluent people.

Maoists want to eradicate injustice in the society by capturing the State power,
even by Physical Violence.

The Government wants to develop India as number one Economic power in the
World and are willing to tolerate Violence of blatant corruption.

The Social Activists are genuinely anguished at the continuing poverty, exploitation
and injustice meted to Dalits, Adivasis, Women and other deprived oppressed
sections of the Society and indulging in a Campaign of Emotional Violence by
taking literally anti government position.

Coming to the Social Activists, Voluntary Organisations and the so-called NGOs, the
vocal Civil Society

They are organizing massive campaigns against the atrocities of Police and Armed
personnel of the Government in Dandakaranya, North East and Kashmir. They are
genuinely so sensitive and intolerant to violence that they cannot accept these
killings, out of frustration go to the extreme of calling our Indian Army as
Occupation army in our own country. Ironically, we read these real stories of such
‘atrocities’ in newspapers, every day.- Violence.

We equally see other sections of the Civil Society- most of them are strongly vocal
and on the path of enjoying affluence, vehemently exhorting the Government to
brand the responsible persons as terrorists, crush and kill them different hunts. –
Violence.

Many Social Workers in 70s were inspired by Volunteerism, Marxism and Gandhi.
They started to go to villages, remote tribal areas and the masses. They formed
Public Societies to organise these oppressed communities to united struggle for
justice, resort to legal means to get justice and/or provide development inputs for
betterment of their lives. There is a capital flow of these scare communities
towards Capital centres from rural and remote areas, getting professional,
getting huge funds and got converted as NGOs.

We started in 70s with post, trunk calling inefficient telephones and type machines.
We were just that busy with our work that we could give time to our fellow Social
workers, to the communities and agencies. But today, we are too busy with
computer, very efficient mobiles and internet – that we cannot give our time to
fellow Social Workers, the communities and even agencies.

Coming to the Gandhians who inherited the Legacy of Gandhi and Vinobha- the
Sarvodaya.
It is another interesting story. Many of them joined Politics to gain Power and be
part of a corrupt system, tolerating the corruption. Many others have inherited the
Gandhian Institutions that emerged because of Gandhi and started living in their
comfort zones. It is true that many who hold even key positions in these Gandhian
and Sarvodaya institutions (include such Institutions like “Servants of people
Society and Servants of India Society”) are highly introspective of the inertness and
corruption in their institutions. But, somehow, they lack the moral courage to revolt
or quit from these Institutions. They maintain their suave nature to be good to all.
They are not either so much in poverty that they need to stay on in those corrupt
institutions (in their own words) for survival.

For many of them, they are particular of maintaining the rituals and visuals of
Gandhi. That dominates in their agenda propagating Gandhi but do not utter few
words on other Gandhian practices.

While Gandhi came to India, his motherland these new millennium Gandhis are busy
going abroad propagating Gandhi but are blind to vast areas in India where Gandhi
must reach, including Dandakaranya.

India has a strong system of Democracy that is vibrant and successful.

In this sense, I would confidently say that India has better than best
Democracies of the World. But, we crucially lack the Democratic Culture,
especially we lack the moral courage to resist corruption- (on the other hand we are
not only tolerating but even accepting corruption as reality) and proactive
participation at some level in the Local Self Governance between two elections. The
Globalisation of the new millennium is seducing us to submit to Economic
Imperialism, Intellectual Imperialism and even Cultural Imperialism.

We are no exception. All of us are in a dilemma. We are all influenced by Gobbel to

believe perceived reality as reality. Let us reject this reality, what is seen/perceived
as reality and work towards a Society of what Should be the reality- Gandhi
Satyameva Yajathe- Truth should prevail.

About Myself

I am an Indian and believe in being a Global Citizen. To understand better, I am by

birth and nativity from Tamil Nadu. I had my middle schooling in Karnataka. From
my High Schooling, 9th class at 14th years I am at Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. I
completed my BSc graduation at Hyderabad, organised Social Work through P & P
Club (Peace and Prosperity Club) for about five years.

I wanted to serve the Society by becoming a doctor and missed my medical seat by
0.25 marks. We had no EMCET in those years. I wanted to become rich by doing
business or well paid jobs and serve the Society in the Week-ends. I started working
as a teacher in my own school where I studied my High School – Mahbub College
Higher Secondary School for couple of years. In those years, I was doing part time
business in Newspaper/Magazine sales, Bottled Milk sale and sale of Modern Bread.

Fortunately in my life, I started attending “Antar Bharati Shram Saskar Chaonis”- All
India Student and Youth work camps with Baba Amte in 1968-69-70. It was his
fervent exhortation and trigger by co camper Kumar Shiralkar- A staunch Marxist
that I left the so-called secured comfort zone to get dropped out to live with
Adivasis in Dandakaranya (I perceived in those years as Central Tribal Belt of India
and later as Eastern Ghats) since 15th August 1973. After initial years of
experiences, I was instrumental to directly initiate two Voluntary Organisations
called Girijana Seema Welfare Association in 1977 and Chaitanya Shravanthi in
1983-85. I am happy that thousands were served by these organisations in terms of
Education and assured irrigation, besides many welfare activities at times of
accidents, floods and individual extreme sickness.

I resigned from my organizational responsibilities in November 2008. Since then, I

call myself as part of self styled People’s Peace and Prosperity Mission. I am
seeking as many individuals and initiatives to be a team under the banner without
any legal framework, except SAHYOG and CONSENSUS concept.

Personally, I am married to two women and one who was very actively leading
Chaitanya Shravanthi Late.Smt.V.B.Mabni is no more. She prematurely died of
cancer on the 31st December 1994. Now, me and Mangamma- my enduring partner
in life with all my nagging are living with five grown up children. They are four male
and one female in the centre. Two of them are married – son and daughter and the
son has given me a grandson. We are a happy family, supporting each other.

I was also undergoing all the maladies narrated earlier working with these
organizations with vestiges remaining, even today.

About our Mission- Dandakaranya SAHYOG Ahimsa Yatra.

I am a Gandhi to my belief to the extent I do not have any Property or bank

balances, after my retirement. I was recently asking for small contributions from
few college days’ friends in Voluntary Sector. They chided me that I cannot be
raising funds like this begging. One of them in a genuine friendly mode said that if I
am Gandhi, I must find Birlas to support me.

Similarly, after Independence when the Communists were violently even killing the
land lords to establish proletariat Republics, Vinobha started Bhoodaan Movement
in Andhra Pradesh by Padayatra to meet the rich landlords asking them to share
their “small portion of their excess lands”, giving a warning of the violence
that will flood them otherwise, in the coming days, months or years.
We are before you seeking cooperation to our Dandakaranya SAHYOG Ahimsa
Yatra being a response of the third option between the violence of the Maoists and
the Government.

Our Core two activities proposed all over India.- Rural and urban.

1. One or few Political Parties bound together by SAHYOG Concept will nurture
Modern Saints- New Millennium Saints to stand for elections. While the
Maoists desire to capture State Power through bullets, it is our desire to
capture power through ballots.

2. All the Social Activists, Social Workers and the so-called NGOs subscribe to
the concept of Volunteerism. They come under one broad Sarva Seva
Sangh- Sarvodaya platform. They will nurture Kaliyuga Gandhis and
Vinobhas – New Millennium Gandhis, who would practice one or few of what
we believe Gandhi practiced and give some hours, days, weeks, months or
years and few even their life to nurture Democracy at the level of Local Self
Governance.

Our Mission:

1. We want to rejuvenate the buried spirit of The Constitution of India,

Gandhi, Vinobha and many others and travel every village in
Dandakaranya to enable the Adivasis get confidence and manage their Self
Governance. They will establish Gram Swaraj- the Gandhi’s Dream of Village
Republics.

The first and immediate step of the liberation would be Clean, Green and
Corruption free Panchayaths/Village Republics.

2. As a spin off, it is hoped that urbanites like you would equally become active
to participate in your Governance at the ward level between two elections at
some level or the other.

Our Appeal:

1. Each one of you must become a Gandhi meaning practicing one to few of
what he practiced just for some part of your time in life and also become a
Birla, by contributing Rs.100.00 per month in teams and/or form
Dandakaranya SAHYOG Trusts to support the Gandhian liberated village
Republics.

2. Gandhi started and planned his Indian Independence from ONE Sewagram in
Wardha. We plan to start such but many small Sewagrams in Dandakaranya
 to launch his proposed Second Freedom Struggle. We initially start them at
Chatti Village, Chinthur Mandalam of Khammam District and Gudem Village,
G.K.Veedhi Mandalam in Visakha District- both in Andhra Pradesh. We will
spread to entire Dandakaranya in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh,
Odisa and Maharashtra, eventually in the first five years- starting from the 2nd
October 2010.

3. You as Gandhi give few hours, days, weeks or even months being where you
are or come and stay in our Sewagrams in Dandakaranya.

4. Make friendship with adivasi Youth, keep writing them as pen friends and
ensure they do not leave their communities and villages. This flow must be
reversed. Provide them all forms of support.

5. Spread the message with Ahimsa input, organise workshops, seminars,

debates, work camps, Yatras and Padayatra in your own area and/or you are
welcome to our Sewagrams in Dandakaranya.
