Preface

The Globe Inc. aims to be a corporation leading the world in providing innovative

products and resources to everyone around the globe, contributing to a happier,

more sustainable society.

To achieve this objective, we are determined to pursue The Globes core values of

Change, Prosperity, Sustainability, and Community that are held to most

importance within the company.

The first preview people receive of our company is through communications,

specifically in written form. To insure we are upholding our core values and

presenting to the world what we stand for, this Communications Code of Conduct

will be the standard that will guide everyone in The Globe Inc. to better

communicate and conduct business globally.

Section 1. Responsibility

I. It is our duty as employees of The Globe Inc. to be conscious of our roles in

the company as well as the global society. To operate effectively as a

company and partnership with others across the world, we must take

responsibility in the workplace and in our society for our words and actions.

II. Speak and act with The Globe Inc.s core values in mind. When

communicating with the world outside of the company, be sure to have

integrity and speak with professionalism as you are the face of the company

and represent these core values. Be sure to always take responsibility for any

mistakes made on your behalf, as well as your colleague; we are all working

to better the globe and must start with ourselves. In doing so, make sure you

are still communicating in a professional manner and with respect for your

fellow colleagues dignity.

Section 2. Conflicts of Interest

I. While we pride ourselves as being a company full of diversity, we

understand that issues will arise between conflicting views in the workplace.

When disagreements occur or issues need to be addressed, keep your

composure and keep in line with business professionalism. Inappropriate

responses and behaviors will be met with consequences that could include

termination.

II. Knowing how to handle any conflict that could occur is important to

retaining your integrity and dignity as well as the companys. Attempt to

deescalate the situation if possible; this pertains to small disagreements and

conflicts that emerge from daily interactions.

III. If any situation is beyond your professional reproach, contact your team

manager and/or the director of your office. It is their job to handle any issues

that may result from conflicts of interest and dissolve the matter in a

professional manner. This includes in person interactions as well as written

forms of communications.

Section 3. Upholding the Code

I. As a global company, we are consistently searching for ways to better our

brand. There is no better way to share our ideas and goals than through

communication. Although our communication standards as a company have

been presented, it is not always easy to remember how to uphold them. Here

are a few ways everyone can remember to uphold our communication

standards in our office here and abroad.

i. Keep the core values (Change, Prosperity, Sustainability,

Community) in mind and what they mean to you as an

employee of this company when communicating.

ii. Consider every communication transaction to be the most

important; what you say and how you say it reflect you as a

person as well as The Globe Inc. has a company.

iii. Be conscious of your audience; stay aware of any cultural

differences between you and your intended audience that could

alter the way you need to communicate differently but still be

effective and clear in what youre aiming to get across.
