Lesson Topic: The cultural differences between African and Australian artwork.

Objectives:

Language: The students will be able to engage in conversation using the style names

and characteristics.

Content: The students will be able to differentiate between the two countrys art

styles.

Interaction:
Students will be in groups when creating their art projects and are able to discuss
freely about what they are making
Students will present their art projects after they finish to show their knowledge of
the differences between the two countrys art styles.

PRACTICE AND APPLICATION:

Model- show students an example that they can base theirs off of
Recreate their own Aboriginal piece and Ndebele tribe painted house

Differentiation: Lower level students will be given a worksheet of an
animal so they dont have to draw it

Differentiation: Lower-Level students will be given a worksheet with the
pattern already drawn out for them. All they have to do is color in the
pattern and then make it into a house

REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT:

The student is required to give a presentation using their models and the vocabulary that

was introduced.
