I know Mr. Yash Mahendra in my capacity as his professor at the K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering.

I
have taught him wide range of courses like Computer Organization and Architecture(Sem IV), Open
Source Technologies(Sem V), Distributed Systems(Sem VI), E-Commerce(Sem VII). Being his Proctor
for 4 years, I had a chance to observe not only his academic progress but also his active involvement in
extra-curricular activities. Thus he leaves me in no doubts that he will excel with flying colors and make
good use of his education.

His attributes include being a quick learner, singularly driven, punctual and extremely motivated. His
energy in performing assigned tasks or his excitement at any newest discovery is enormous. He has an
inquisitive mind and good interpretation abilities. Moreover he has excelled in all the subjects that I have
taught him especially Open Source Technologies scoring 82/100 and was among the top 5 in that subject
among 120 students.

It was evident looking at him during my lectures that he has a quest to gain knowledge and understand
real-world technology scenarios in order to be able to score well in academics. I saw in him a need to
study to understand the concepts and never for once I thought he studied only with an examination point
of view. He actively participated in discussions and raised questions confidently. Another quality that
impressed me highly was his ability to constantly correlate new pieces of information with existing ones,
and ask questions about the possible applications. He has been timely at assignment submissions and is
thoroughly attentive in class. He had several discussions with me on research fields and advancements in
computer technology. He has a knack for technology and is eager to learn more and keep himself up-to-
date on newer developments. His interest in Data Science and OOP is immense and I have seen it grow
significantly in these years. I have been very impressed with Yash and he has made me believe even more
in his capabilities and his ambitions.

Dedication and enthusiasm towards the understanding of concepts is what distinguishes him from others
in his class. During the OST mini-project he was assigned to create an Android Application in short
period of time. Not only did he complete the project successfully, but also figure out to implement the
complex concepts like Bitmap etc. in his application. This showcased his willingness to research as many
of the thing which were not a part of syllabus. Same goes with the mini-project under E-Commerce where
he and his team were able to develop an E-Commerce website for Mobiles, with different functionalities
like payment gateway etc.

He has abilities and intelligence that requires such a course of study and with this opportunity under his
bag he will be able to greatly enhance his skills further to gain a rich experience in his field of interest and
make him strong in aspect of its theory and practical knowledge. I thereby recommend him for the
