Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

What Weebly is, is a website that gives you the ability to create your own website. A lot of professionals in the real world use this
website-builder. Its very user friendly in the sense of, there are no complicated codes to input for a feature on your website.
There is no manual coding. The user the ability has total control on what the public is able to view.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PORTFOLIOS

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote student-centered learning?

Weebly would be very beneficial to use in the classroom because you can give the students opportunity to create their own very
website. Our world nowadays is so tech-savvy, this will propel kids to be excited and be exposed to more of their very own creative
side. As teachers, we must fulfill our obligations as educators in terms of teaching our students the correct amount of content
needed in order to move on. However, I think with time allotted to the students to showcase their abilities is equally as important.

As for my own personal content area, math, I would like to turn Weebly as more of a personal blog for my students.I would pose
opinionated-questions in relation to math for kids to answer in math. Im just more curious to see what they think about certain
things. I can pose a question such as: Think about what you do in everyday life, whats or wheres one way you are using math or
you think youre using math? I would serve Weebly as more of a response to questions type.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION

Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?

Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

Based off of the rubric scale, I think Weebly would be a 2 on the scale.Ideally, it should correspond to content standards and has
the potential to enhance a lesson. Im still on the fence on how completely I can have it relate to a math lesson. However, I know I
can figure out a lesson(s) for my students. It will more than likely be used by the students directly. All the teacher will do is to go
on their website and read what they have posted.

This semester was my first semester being exposed to Weebly and I want to use it for years to come .
