ABOUT SIES & SIESCOMS

South Indian Education Society (SIES), one of the oldest value-based educational trusts that runs a number of
educational institutes in the city of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, was established in 1932. SIES is a fast growing
organization and has gained acclaim for its strong foundation of cultural values and ethos.

SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) was established in 1995 and grew rapidly to gain reputation
as one of the top ranking B-Schools in the country in a short span of 20 years. In keeping with its mission of
grooming business managers and technocrats, SIESCOMS offers several flagship management courses that
include Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Masters in Management Studies (MMS), Masters in
Computer Applications (MCA), as well as vertical specific Post Graduate Diplomas in Pharmaceutical
Management and Biotechnology Management. The PGDM program of SIESCOMS is the first program in the
city of Mumbai/Navi Mumbai to have received an International Accreditation from ACBSP, one of the top
accreditation bodies based in the USA.

SIESCOMS boasts of a progressive and state-of-the art infrastructure, reputed faculty and an enviable
placement record.

CONFERENCE THEME

The main theme of the conference is paradigm shift in marketing practices to millennials. In todays environment,
success of marketing largely depends upon its ability to facilitate and sustain meaningful engaging experience
for Millennials. Millennials are one of the most talked about generations in the marketing industry. Millennials
are different than earlier generations because they grew up with an unmatched presence of technology in their
lives and they are one of the most studied generations because of that. They prefer to shop and book on mobile.
Millennials think differently especially when it comes to online behavior. They react differently to trigger points
because of the way they grew, full of technology and social media. Millennials want to feel connected and
involved when it comes to their purchases, and traditional marketing does not encourage this. Thus this conference
aims to encourage discussions about uncertain & dynamic behavior of millennials and the marketing strategies
adopted by Companies to attract them.

We are inviting Empirical/Conceptual/Working research papers, case studies/models and also posters for the
International Conference on Marketing for the Millennials

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Should not exceed a total of 10 pages and 4000 words 7 pages for the body which can include
charts, graphs, diagrams, etc. and up to 3 pages of references. The word count includes all text in the
charts, graphs, diagrams, etc. (excluding references).

Abstract (not exceeding 200 words) should reach us latest by 15th August 2017. Submission should
include a separate title page which clearly indicates the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), complete
mailing address, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address(es), title of the paper and up to four key
words that describe the paper. (This will not be counted in above mentioned 10 pages and 4000
words).

MS Word (.doc/.docx) is the preferred file format. The title of the paper should be listed in the header
of each page. Please use 1.5 spacing, 12 point Times New Roman font and APA style of referencing
(Please check the url: http://www.library.cornell.edu/resrch/citmanage/apa).

Maximum of two (2) papers, either as an author or as a co-author, may be submitted.

Only original, unpublished work is sought. Any paper submitted to present identical or substantially
similar work already published, under review for another conference or publication will not be
considered or might be subject to exclusion at any time before the conference.

Please ensure to e-mail your submission with the Subject: Submission for International Marketing
Conference on Marketing for the Millennials, and File Name: Title of Paper for Blind Review Process.

To preserve anonymity, author names should NOT be identified in header/footer or in the body of the
paper. Authors should be referred to in the text or notes in the third person only.

Review Committee: All proposals will be reviewed by reviewers.

Only electronic submission by email to siescomsmarketing@sies.edu.in will be accepted.
