Humanities 2 Philosophy of Man
Second Semester, SY 2014-2015
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will deal on the vast range of philosophical issues regarding the human person. It is
basically concerned with the questions of what makes a man a truly human person. For this reason, it will
explore mans different features such as his body, soul, knowledge, freedom and responsibility, love and death,
meaning and purpose of life, and the Absolute.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Guided by the University Mission, Vision, Goals and Objectives, the course aims to widen the students
sense of philosophical wonder in order to have a deeper understanding of themselves as a person and as a
member of the society.
