- Before coming to the carpet have the students get out their supplies.
I will cut out a paper turkey, as I do so I will make a mess with scraps of paper on
the floor and not clean up after myself. Class, what is the problem that you see? Why
is it a problem? If I make a mess all over the floor what do you think I should do?
IV. Purpose:

i. Ayden will be my partner since he struggles to work well with
others
ii. Arcielya, isham, and noah will be put with partners who are
grade level or above students.

V. Check for understanding. How do you know students have learned? What strategies

- I would like all of you to go ahead and go back to your seats. I would like some of you to
come share what you did with the class. Does anyone want to share? Wait for response
You can come up here and show everyone on the doc camera. Tell us your topic and what
you drew.
- I will let anyone who wants to share their drawing unless we run out of time.
- Give the students 5 strips of paper- 3 with a definition and 2 with words.
