WORK EXPERIENCE
I undertook a weeks work
experience where I was given
a brief to create a self
contained living pod; this is
what I designed. The pod had
a key focus of being eco-
friendly and self supportive.
This page shows a collection
of pieces on my final design,
including a watercolour
drawing and images of my
google SketchUp model.
INTERIOR DESIGN
For a mini project within my
Interior Design studies I
designed a wallpaper for a
1970s common room. Here I
have experimented with
tessellation and marbling
techniques, which I then
progressed further using
computer software.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Throughout Interior Design we
has to create scale drawings,
this image is a scale floor,
electric and furniture plan for
my studio design space. This is
in the scale 1:50.
INTERIOR DESIGN
In my A2 Interior Design
studies I was given the brief of
designing a wedding. For this
I chose an elegant baroque
theme; here is my mood board
for such design.
LIFE DRAWING
In my 1st year of A Levels I
completed a short course in
life drawing, here are 2 short
pencil sketches of a female
figure.
The choice of angels in these
images make me consider
perspectives and how this
effects proportions of the
body.
LIFE DRAWING
Here is an artist research
board looking into; Jeff jones,
Nora Macphail and Sylvie
Quillot.
This research I used to help
me develop ideas and
techniques to use within my
own life drawing pieces.
The images marked with # are my #
versions of the artists work.

ORDER AND/OR
DISORDER
My 2nd GCSE project had the
theme of Order and/or
Disorder. I chose to base my
project on the idea of mental
health disorders and the
feelings that come alongside
it.
This page shows one of my
portrait line drawings and an
idea development page from
my sketchbook. From this I
went on to use the portrait(s)
in my mix-media final piece.
ORDER AND/OR
DISORDER
This image is a section of my
final piece for my Order and/or
Disorder project.
This allows a closer look at
finer details within the piece,
like the stitching and the pen
and brush strokes.
The use of the map as the
background was used to
extenuate the feeling of being
lost and helpless.
FORCE & ORDER
AND/OR DISORDER
In completing my projects in
GCSE I chose to do a final
piece that complimented
elements from 2 projects.
Here I did a pastiche in the
style of Jonny Burt who I
researched for Order and/or
Disorder - completing a self
portrait in such style using an
image from my force project.
(right) is a copy of a piece of Jonny
Burts work. (left) is my self portrait
pastiche.
APART AND/OR
TOGETHER
My 3rd and final project for
GCSE I focused on the idea of
cities and communities. With
this I delved into the idea of
how cities, and architecture,
can bring communities
together, but just as easily
push them apart, for example
in terms homelessness.
Pictured here is a pastiche in
the style of Abi Daker using
my own images of London I
created this detailed drawing,
using foam to create layers
and a slight sense of depth.
APART AND/OR
TOGETHER
Shown here is my cityscape
Marquette for my apart and/or
together project.
The composition being
wadding and fabric to add
depth. The contrast between
the skyscrapers and the
buildings in the foreground
exaggerate the differentials in
communities and how they can
draw people apart.
The quote reads: There are 4.1
million homeless people and 11
million empty homes in Europe.
